Why keep being disappointed by J.K. Rowling when you can just keep getting impressed by Rick Riordan?

I mean, Rowling has done nothing but disappoint everyone since the last Harry Potter book, while Rick Riordan has continued making Mythology themed books and expanding the universe he's created, while having gay characters, a genderfluid character, a strong Muslim female leader, and so many other great things while keeping his books readable for a whole range of ages.

To wonder if there was anything you could have done to stop catastrophe. Summary: Varric ties up loose ends and cuts other threads. Max tries to tidy up what remains. Guilt and regret hide in the corners of Skyhold, along with unspoken hope.

So, this is the smallest ship - Male Trevelyan x Varric Tethras (Vinqy). There is so much in the game to support this ship.

- Varric tells Inqy about the real Bianca

- Varric actually talks to Inqy about his personal life and feelings

- Varric asks Inqy about his feelings

- Varric is super protective of Inqy from day 1, saying there’s a ton of heroes, and they usually die at the end, so Inqy should ‘run while he can’ [sic]  

- Right off the bat, Varric says: “Now that Cassandra’s out of earshot, are you holding up all right?”

- When you’re friends and go to speak with him, Varric asks Inqy if he’s just “there to admire the dwarf” (which sounds like flirting to me!)

- Hawke (if you let him leave the Fade) asks Inqy to look after Varric for him, which sounds like a bff to a lover statement

- After the game of Wicked Grace, Varric shows he cares about Inqy as a person, saying “I’m glad you decided to join us tonight. It’s too easy to mistake you for the Inquisitor”

- Dorian bets against Inqy in party banter, and Varric’s always on Inqy’s side

Anyway, both of these characters are amazing, and I love their relationship in game and the potential for shipping them. 

Maxwell Trevelyan from Dragon Age: Inquisition. This is the “canon” (stock) build for one of the human nobles. I just finished my second Inquisition playthrough, with only Trespasser left to go.

I was introduced to Over The Garden Wall in 2015 by Jin, and I loved it. It’s become one of my favorite cartoons. Never did I imagine that years later, I’d be doing a cover for the official comic by BOOM! Studios. It will be released this September. Starting a new round of fic tag

     No one tagged me but I thought I’d start another round of this game as I love seeing all the words.

Um…this is weird as I just finished a fic last week and then wrote exactly one line of a new one so I guess I’ll throw in both.

The mission, she decided as they followed the northern star towards the horizon and the eventual promise of Rainbase, had been a success after all.

Being the world’s seventh – no wait, based on last year’s taxes they’d jumped up two spaces to number five – FIFTH largest economy meant that money should have been a nonissue for most day to day activities.

I’m currently 31k words into a Dragon Age fic. Not sure that sentence will even make it into the final version of the fic, I might ax that whole scene. Not even sure this will ever see the light of day, I got unfortunately derailed in the middle of it. I need to get back in the right DA headspace to finish it, arrrgh. :-/ :-/

(I am sooooo bad at getting derailed in the middle of fics. I have like 7 unfinished fics for other fandoms languishing on my hard drive right now ;__;)
