Traveling in an Airstream

A beach front campground within walking distance to fish tacos and beers is always the right choice. (at La Palapa RV Camp, San Felipe BC)

Even with warm showers, our camper is still full of sand after their daily somersaults down the sand dunes. But those giggles are so worth it. (at Playa El Pabellon, San Quintin B.C.)

Who needs turkey when you have shrimp and margaritas. Might have to come to Baja for every Thanksgiving from now on. (at Playa El Pabellon, San Quintin B.C.)

We met Francisco and Marta 3 years ago when we camped together in the parking lot of Airstream LA in San Gabriel, CA. As a teacher and TV producer in Los Angeles, our normal lives are quite different but for these few days we are all spending our days soaking in Baja's warm ☀️ (at Playa El Pabellon, San Quintin B.C.)

There's so much open space all around us but we always find ourselves standing right next to each other. (at Playa San Miguel)

We accidentally ordered twenty-one tacos at lunch today. Kidding. It was no accident. (at Playa San Miguel)

In order to stay in downtown San Diego, you sometimes have to park under a hotel, shimmy past and ignore the clearance post, remove the max tracks, and sweat a few bullets to make it all work. Phew! (at Adobe MAX)

The trickier part of living on the road is balancing wanderlust and relationships. It's important to us that our kids maintain strong bonds with their family and friends. After two weeks in suburbia, the road is calling our name loudly. It's now time to give wanderlust a turn. (at San Pedro, California)

I don't know what's funnier: the looks he gets for working in a national park with his office cat or that he and the cat coordinate with our rig. (at Banff National Park)

This is the stupid 💩 I've seen all week. People this close to bears. With kids. Running. Snapping photos. No one stopping them. Dan yelling at them all. I don't understand. I need a break from National Parks. And that's sad to say. (at Jasper National Park)
