The boy who had been created on the ideas of a curious scientist, like most of his adventures previously, had awoken during an undesirable time for the Chilly Academic, that is to say undesirable as in He was not around when it were to happen. He had memorized the first few corridors of the castle, though this was of little consequence this time around, another member was the one who had awoken him in their efforts to trifle with Vexen after all it would be a shame if one of the projects he had put so much time into ended up "Missing."  They watched from a distance, before utilizing the object of this accident waiting to happen; A dark corridor, something the experiment had no ability to create so far, an addition likely to have been added later if Vexen would ever be able to work on him again.

Upon sighting the dark corridor, the yellow pools that made the greater parts of his eyes wobbled, a sign to anyone who had ever had the unfortunate burden of playing "babysit the experiment" that he was trying to pull the appropriate information out of his under construction mind. Eventually he came to find the desired information that matched up with the appropriate event unfolding before him. The next move was his, and fortunately a simple one, stepping through the portal. Once through the collapsing darkness, the portal seemingly dissipated into nothingness much like how it had appearing the in the first place. He was unfamiliar with the location and did not match the descriptions of any locations that had previously been described to him during one of Number IV's educational discussions. Though he rarely did any of the talking and merely absorbed whatever the senior member had to share with him. All the time he continued to move around in an attempt to find a familiar item, anything, perhaps a mark from one of the others weapons nearby. Nothing of the sort was to be found unfortunately. His train of thought, albeit a much slower one that what it should be for someone in his age group, came to a clumsy halt. Someone was addressing him, focusing on the location of the new voice, his expression momentarily distorted between confusion and then back to default blank. Led astray? He considered the possibility, but it had not been suggested to him thus far that other members may be less mature or malicious than his creator. His pondered the possibility to this new face being an enemy but then dismissed it, namely through the mechanized notion that he was not combat ready in any sense. He probably was not even ready socially to try a mission, hence his lack of response to the female standing in front of him. Regardless, this little glitch thrown into the experiments timeline would not go unmentioned at the next meeting.

{}——— Shades of neon contrasted against the blackened sky-- the male before her seemingly mute in response too her direct, rather bodacious address. Ashen eyebrows knitted slightly-- however, not becoming of the normed cause: the Princess was not agitated at the trespasser as one would reprieve. The woman atop her balcony high could sense the misfortune and rather distinct sense of bewilderment radiating from hidden optics she could assume were frantically scanning the area before him-- Stella knew immediately he was to be no threat to her people, or her crown.  With a single, elegant lunge; the Princess' digits grasped the encrusted rune of an alabaster, marbled pillar- one of two which held her sleep quarters high-- and spun herself briskly and fluidly down the thickened, sleek object before soft, paled heels graced the moistened blades of pine grass below bare skin. The sparked silver of moonlight cast upon the traveler's amazonite hair-- strands seeming to become translucent and rather pleasing toward the eye-- extremely exotic-- as the woman now stood before her trespasser. Violet eyes glinted beneath the stars-- narrowing slightly as if stating what her lips would no longer repeat; the ivory silken dress which bore too the woman's features becoming enamored with the teases from the seductive, caressing wind.

 - In hasty succession, the Prince looked away from the Princess. An uncomfortable feeling would wave into him every time those eyes took over; however, Noctis grew oblivious to the time it will take for him to face her once more. An arm reached up and placed his hand onto the nape of his neck. Thoughts rushing threw his mind, repeatedly pondering at why Stella knew how to dig underneath his skin.

A breathe escaped the pair of smooth lips that possessed the Prince, letting his crimson optics move back into original state of soft blue before he looked toward her once more. “You live a dangerous lifestyle, Stella.” Noctis spoke, letting a small tug of the corner of his lip to arise upon his features into a smirk before letting it fade.

Sliding his hands into his pockets, the Prince tilted his head to the side slightly. “This desire to visit me isn’t what is motivating you to be a rebel, is it Princess?”

{☆} ——— Stella watched intently, curiously, towards the scarlet flecks which faded into the depths of aqua in mere moments. On the norm others would fear this sight-- any logical human would-- however, perhaps it was the rather brash, rebellious spirit of the Princess which had always drawn her towards these deepened turmoils. Then again-- they were the fated children; the chosen of Etro. The melody that the Prince's soul would cry forth, the Princess' in turn would exceedingly match the pacing, forever damned and accustomed towards this perplexing, ambitiousness concept of fate. "You speak as if you don't." Stella raised a hand over her smiling features; gently masking her chimed, slightly stifled laughter. "I've witnessed just how reckless you've been as of recent-- charging into battle assuming that you could take the universe and crush it betwixt your fingers-- not to mention your oblivious limits too your true powers. Even when we were seven, ah--- you were always just as stubborn and eccentrically courageous." It seemed for the first time in decades, Stella allowed herself to genuinely smile-- ivory teeth flashing into the crisp, lighted air for a moment or two.

Image

"It may;" Stella began, before shaking her head slightly; cascades of sheer gold brushing the ivory skin of exposed shoulders. "I've always been this way, Noctis." Her tone seemed to seep from her lips as flowing water- her pitch gentle, yet stern. "What of you- are you always concerned of your other visitor's affairs?"

 - The male sat up straight in his throne before he stood up to properly address the Princess. A nervous aura took hold in his eyes along with a concerned look that spread over his features. Going against her father could end up in… deficient results. “I think I’ve established that it isn’t right for you to be going off without him.” Noctis started his reply.

image

"Do the consequences not intimidate you?" The prince added. It was different for him in royalty, for the King always encouraged for him to wander off and express his power, but the princess was someone that had to be handled with a more gentle approach. The restrictions on what she can do only serve to fulfill her safety.

{☆} ——— Whimsical eyes instantaneously broadened as the woman felt the morose, apprehensive gaze wash over her being; thick eyelashes narrowing over glinted iris' in an act of brief, faltering concealment. Stella had not expected the Prince to have been so precautions over any matter-- much less ones such as this-- as full lips pursed before clenched, ivory teeth. She was a woman of honesty-- his prying gaze knew the secrecy of such-- which surfaced the hazed ideal that she had been forcefully made to succumb too her father for more than two tedious decades. Noctis knew the truth-- he had since that fateful day within the fogged field.  "They don't." She stated; casually, willingly-- as if he were the only other she could shatter the regal facade for-- and just as his iris' sparked red as crimson, amethyst hues seemed to become increased with an unfaltering iridescence which burned as white fire-- the pain was visible. The fierceness in her stare soon faded; the woman snapping her eyes shut for a brief moment as she continued-- she was aware Noctis disliked any remembrance or conversations of the light they have shared since childhood-- as the Princess caste her gaze aside for a mere moment's glance.

image

"I would much rather be here." She stated, pressing once more with the charming, dauntless smile. "Come what may-- my Father's punishments were always only evident for a few night's width-- hasn't all evidence always faded away, Noct?" The Princess' inner embers ignited such as a valiant star-- "No matter what happens-- I will never fully obey him, even if it means dire consequences for myself."

{☆} ——— A warm smile pressed itself upon Stella's features-- glancing towards the rather stunning rosette blooming before her. Did she truly not know the land of where she resides? Not many travelers tended to wonder towards Tenebrae castle without recalling some form of lucid direction or remembrance. This woman, however, looked not of the norm.

image

"The country you are currently in is called 'Tenebrae'--" The blonde began, eying the newcomer with a bewildered curiosity. "You do not seem to be a resident in my Kingdom, have you lost your way?" Stella truly did worry for this woman sake-- the truth in her rasped, husked voice was impeccable-- as the young lady drew up the castle's gates. "My name is Lady Stella Nox Fleuret-- Princess of this Kingdom. Whom might you be?" A soft, genuine smile played on Stella's beaming expression, hoping to help this traveler in any way she could. "I personally welcome you into my home."

- Calmly sitting in his chair, with a leg up upon an arm, and his own arm supporting his head up on the other, the Prince was relaxed, yet bored leaving a dull emotion in him, until a voice caught his attention.

Looking up to the direction of where the voice awoke. Soft blue orbs examined the smooth silhouette of a familiar woman then his questions were answered once his assumptions were deemed true.

image

"Stella… what are you doing here?"

{☆} ——— It had always bewildered the Princess at how the fellow male could fixate himself in such unbecoming, uncomfortable appearing positions, even in youth-- yet it did say quite a bit abut his true interior. Stella flashed a gentle smirk, one laced with traces of slight amusement, and stepped closer towards the dusk throne.

Image

"My Father is visiting." The blonde simply stated, glancing towards the vast door far behind the duo. "Naturally, I was forbidden to leave his side." The young woman never was one to follow any profound rules but her own with resonance. "It seems you've not forgotten me, yet." Stella always displayed a sly smile-- though tinged with regret and slight sullen attributes.

{☆} ——— Vibrant amethyst iris' shifted slightly at the sight before her; a slight, sly upturn of glazed lips flashed upon elegant features for a mere moment. "It is quite a momentous surprise to see you, Lord Nocti--" Princess Stella pursed her lips in slight hesitance, an onyx-clad heel shifting slightly towards the familiar Prince.

{☆} ———        "U n e a s y lies the head--                                                                                that wears                                                                                                     the c r o w n."

Thick eyelashes flickered bashfully towards an alabaster, marble polished chassis -- a glazed reflectional square mirroring the rather untimely facial expression all the while-- as amethyst iris' scanned their beholder thoroughly. Ashen eyebrows knitted as ivory keratin tips worked diligently to smooth evident pleads from the formed, alabaster ballgown present on the Princess' evening wear; a soft smile spreading across peach lips once the task was preformed. Tucking a thin, fluoresced strand of blonde behind her left, sterling-studded earlobe; Stella elegantly placed her hands towards the small of her back; fingers hooked upon one another as if to stray from immodest distraction to others around, and as soothed waterfalls-- allowed her lashes to flutter closed. This day had been one to which she had yearned for many months-- the young Princess of Tenebrae to visit the Kingdom of Nabradia; which was many days away from her darkened homeland. She was sent as a monarch for regal, political resonances- the power being attacked and mutilated by an Archadian Empire that Stella knew not of merely months ago. Tenebrae was sturdy during this point in the West's progression- the finest state since her youth- upon as it was requested by her Father to visit the fellow blood to bestow regards and necessary wealth vouches upon investigation. This country was extremely foreign too her-- a quite perplexing mystery-- although a chance to gaze upon the world's finest lineage.  A soft sigh escaped the Princess before allowing herself sight once more; pupils dialated at her reflection upon a slightly startling realization. There was a figure behind of her-- platinum locks framing smoldered, smoked orbs-- as onyx lightly tapped the waxen floor. Stella smiled with a genuine accustomed appeasement; turning towards the man as her eyes shone like stars into the dense mist. Heeled footwear strayed slightly back, the royal giving a polite, sophistical bow; a slightly mischievously inquired smirk ghosted across the woman's features for a mere tick of haunted time. Standing upright once more, the woman outstretched her hand, her gaze as padlocks upon the male.

image

"Please, pardon my injudicious negligence, Sir?" The woman's pitch raised softly, elegantly cascading throughout the crisped air as she formed the acceptance of a question; her posture rising as the sun. "I am Lady Stella Nox Fleuret-- from the land of Tenebrae. It is truly an honor to meet you this evening, my Lord."

{} ———     'A w o n d e r f u l fact to reflect upon: that every human creature                                                                          Is a profound secret and m y s t e r y to every other.' Sunlight fluently seeped through ivory, transparent curtains which flowed elegantly betwixt an opened stained window. It was nearly the fourth hour of night, as the Princess hopped from her bedded sanctuary's balcony to spot a peculiar shade of emerald blurred admits her vast, luscious field-- it was quite peculiar that a trite stranger would wonder about the darkened ambiance of her castle (being rather close too the complex, she added). It had been a hushed cluster of weighted footsteps that caused thick eyelashes to snap open-- and as deviousness filled the Heir towards the brim, she simply couldn't pass the echos as norm. Staring from the platform high, the ashen blonde's amythest orbs shone as stars against the blacked shy-- earning a gaze from an unexpected guest whom had luckily not been noted by the heavily armed and abashed guards wondering admits the wind. Sharpened eyebrows knitted-- the woman curious as to whom this voyager may be-- as transparent silk clung towards ivory hips; a waterfall of lace as decor for the Royal's sleepwear. She was not to call her protection warriors just yet-- a slight smirk placed itself on peached, pursed lips.  "It seems you've been led astray." her voice ran as fluid wine-- bitter in tone, yet scrumptious in pitch as Stella gazed down upon the newcomer, wondering what moves shall be had underneath the waxen moon.

{} ------ 'Stars, hide your f i r e s.                                                                Let not light see my black and deep d e s i r e s.' Chimes-- rings from the heavens themselves echoed from atop a capitols' balcony high; pitches lush with harmonized, appeasing tones gracing eardrums scattered across the Tenebrae nation's landscapes. It seemed as if every echo drew yet another civilian near to it's source- the bell's song signalizing sanctuary for those whom come to celebrate this momentous occasion-- the stars' illusory place within the sky seeming to dim gradually this night. Twilight cascaded the country's celestial sphere, as if the moon had melted the sun- drips of lunar carnage consuming the light that dared to grace the sight of the conquered kingdom's blood. Gatherings of civilians soon became illuminated within a golden radiance; iron, onyx-clad streetlamps paving the way towards the momentous Tenebrae castle. Footsteps tapped the stone pathway which welcomed the silver-woven chained drawbridge-- bronze hues swirled from within the heavily-guarded complex as silken material spun clockwise; material clad towards figures swaying betwixt another's arms. The glazed, medieval grandfather clock facing atop the complex's front ticked closely towards midnight, which announced most fatal news-- the castle Tenebrae housing a substantial ballroom gathering towards the salient occurrence that the Kingdoms Tenebrae and Nifelheim have signed and established a peace doctrine. Several civilians from each kingdom lost themselves as they and their chosen partners blurred thin lines of reality with the sway of their hips betwixt heated, passionate excitement. This was to be a celebration- one of titanic proportions which would extend throughout the unforgiving night-- as soon arrival of the Royal family of Nifelheim would so kindly grace the crowd's presence-- if they so chose to merely associate among their people. Alabaster-tipped nails dug softly within creamed flesh-- that behavior was nothing short of an absolute monarchy-- simply tyrannical, and nothing short of dishonorable. Intrepid violin strings filled the air with whimsical, light-hearted melodies; the candle-lit castle casting shadows of all sizes which seemed to tell legends betwixt honorable halls. Palms of love-stricken maidens were being pressed atop hopeful gentleman's quivering lips-- nations which were destined to despise one another now bonding to possibly create one. The idea of this was simply preposterous-- though may a commoner's ear never bestow the truth which the Princess was forbidden to release past rebellion's lips. Nifelheim's recent attack and siege upon Accordo was an act of ruthless tyranny which would have undoubtedly unfolded upon Tenebrae's bronzed soldiers-- if not the brisk spirals provided by a hastened, feathered quill grasped by the Fleuret King. Tenebrae was now in alliance with intrepid, iniquitous dynasties-- all forced too soon attack a Kingdom once held in the highest diplomatic honors by the Fleuret namesake-- Lucis. The hue of delicate lilac significantly darkened upon the dawning realization- peached, rosy undertones fading from a stoic completion. It was not a choice made by herself to become this wicked, vile personnel-- though resisting would spill her crimson blood across alabaster floors in a mere instance. Anger rose within the Princess' chest; eyelids snapping shut as tears dared not to slip past weary eyes.  Should she just embrace it? Standing from atop her golden throne-- the Princess quickly dismissed herself from the balcony she was placed upon; thick eyelashes snapping shut. As her left hand swiftly met with her heaved bosom; quickened footsteps padded down the iron, spiraled stairs which paved the way towards royalty. The Princess needed to breathe-- to escape the sudden morbid clutch which had sank it's pointed claws directly through her beating, paced organ which lay vulnerable to many future battlefields-- though as an attempt to regain herself amethyst hues burned into gold as every fiber of breath escaped from paled lips. Stella had merely glanced up from her hurried antics-- though now stood frozen as eyes locked upon one-another in an embrace the woman simply couldn't place. Words forced themselves out of a stunned, clenched encasing- her stare wavering not once. "My apologizes, Sir." The ashen blonde began; her posture relaxing slightly as her palms nonchalantly smoothed the creases upon the ivory dress worn; sight never blurring. "I did not mean to bump into you--" Iris' contracted. "I am deeply apologetic." The Princess found herself unable to look away-- as if she were pulled towards this man through her grim demeanor.

Naturally the firearms expert found himself at a loss for words. He was pretty cool with the ladies, but Stella wasn’t just your average kinda chick. “Uh, yeah..I mean, got nothin’ to do back at the kingdom so I-“ He watched the petite female saunter over so casually, the fugitive slinging his gun over his shoulder in a relaxed form, swallowing naturally.

”- Hey! I don’t cause trouble.. Trouble just kinda finds me.” He huffed a laugh, shifting his weight from one foot to the other. Raking a hand through his messy, blond locks he gave a half hearted shrug with an honest answer. “Noct’s been pretty busy of late, so I gotta find stuff t’do, t’keep myself occupied.”

{} ——— "I see." Stella responded, curiously eyeing the fellow blonde's expression whilst continuing with an exasperated sigh; "Matters did seem dull in Lucis upon my last visit." Upon listening to the gunslinger-- she pressed a palm too her silken lips in attempt to hide a mischievous smirk. "Trouble such as myself-- upon the ideal that it seems all Kingdoms have been reserving themselves as of recent since the devastating attack on Accordo." The blonde eyed the barrel of Prompto's polished gun, and continued with a polite grin. "Let's hope if your weapon sets fire, it will not be pointed towards me." The glint within the woman's eyes had sent a signal too the other-- her boldness merely set in place to throw the bodyguard off of his usual wits-- she was in no way so solemnly serious about matters like that. "I'm teasing." She gave a light chuckle; "I had to see you falter, if only once." A peach radiance had overtaken her cheeks. "Although-- if you happen to be looking for an activity that may happen to be considered quite troublesome--" The Princess half-lidded her eyes, walking about the gunslinger as if she were proposing a challenge. "How about a friendly spar? Let us see how well Lucis has trained it's recruits."

{} ——— You cannot preform a kindness act too s o o n,                                                                            for you never know how soon it will be too l a t e. It had been mere moments ago that the sun had crested the night's celestial sphere-- it's newborn, transparent rays seeped into sullen amethyst iris' as ruffled onyx material lulled within the slight, seemingly elated breeze. The Princess had been out seemingly for days-- vigoursly being tossed from palace too palace -- seeming to be a mere slave for personifications of an ambidextrous exhaustion and proficient duty; both which forced the woman to partake in her rightful assignments as Heir. Although her heightened stress and distinguished disobedience were clearly painted in a faded obsidian ring below withering eyes-- it was no excuse to rest and become brash to those whom may approach her. There were many fresh faces which tattered themselves across Tenebrae's land as of recent; the city becoming open too those who may be curious just as of recent nights-- the star festival seemed to attract even those who would never dare wish upon them. It was a sacred festival within the Kingdom-- one which brought momentous crowds and strange beings into the aged land-- the celebration Stella was named for. However, with the recent strain on the Heiress-- she had forgotten today was said holiday. Lost in delusional thought-- a weary gaze swept across the chilled, depend crack of pavement in which a peculiar item protruded. Ash eyebrows knitted at the sight; all before the female rose down to cradle the item within her cream fingertips. It was translucent--- a small bead shaded a brilliant turquoise --- and it happened to rest in a very strange crevice. It seemed to be obvious that worrying about the matter would be simply prepostous-- Stella imagined that it had simply fallen off of a piece of decor -- however a foreign sound was dected within sensitive ears. She looked as if she were the Sun Goddess herself-- Arinna or Amaterasu encased in flesh -- the vibrancy emitting from the seemingly young woman immediately leaving an impression that could not be put asunder upon the star Princess. Swirls of curled coral cascaded against swaying shoulders as if fabricated spirals of heated energy as the female lifted her head towards the sky, traveling within the face of the large star itself. She sported various, flamboyant tones which had contrasted with the Heiress' grey-scale wardrobe--------- For if Stella were a star? This woman was certainly the beautiful sun. A warmth had overcome Stella as an act of kindness present itself-- there was something about this girl that yearned for happiness. "Excuse me- Miss!" Stella called out sternly, yet with a gentle undertone. The bead which had escaped from the woman's attire was nestled within a strong, softened palm. "I believe you have lost this." The Princess outstretched her open hands to reveal the small accessory to the silken red-head-- a tired smile pressed upon pale features. "I wanted to return it too you- it is simply stunning. Your array would not glint as brightly without it present." Amythest eyes seemed to suddenly spark with sincerness and an untouched energy- she hoped the woman would accompany the evening's later festivities.
