He hands her a flower, and Rachel finds herself not really caring anymore that there’s a talking tree standing in front of her. In her line of work it’d be silly to be shocked for too long about these things, and the longer she stares, the more adorable this talking tree is getting.

Smiling she puts the flower in her hair, its small white petals quite noticeable against her hot pink hair.

there are so many unbelievable species of flowers that grow on every single planet. groot has not even come close to seeing every type and he never will be. it is not a discouraging thought; on the contrary, it is just another thing he loves of the universe. there should be mysteries and pieces left unexplored in the different worlds around us. colors that cannot be explained or seen anywhere else; plants and flowers that remain a mystery or just the idea of a figment of imagination, unseen by the eye of any species. he believes that his favorite flower is one that he does not know, and maybe never will. he is okay with that. but it is a complex thought, too complex within his limited vocabulary and even too complex perhaps, with no barriers of language. instead, he grows several different types upon his right forearm and picks them all -––– the colors clashing in a unity that seem to blend and work together. the different kinds all mash together, it cannot be distinguished what is what. he picks them all with one swoop of his left arm, and hands it to the human. that, that is his favorite. ”I am Groot.”

ANYWAY wowowow you people are nuts for being able to stick with me even through my bullshitting Groot. Idk why he’s such an easy muse for me but he has stuck to me like no muse has stuck to me for a few years. So it’s nice to know that people support my endeavor to be the Groot in your character’s lives.
