Aaaaa FE4 cosplay!! I’ve only seen one thus far – a Levin at Otakon – but there’s going to be more there this year, and I’m so excited. I honestly considered doing Alvis, but the combo of me being 5′4, all that bias tape, and no one knowing who I was would probably make it a no-go for me. (Mostly the bias tape.)

Yeah, there was a Legault, a Lucius, and a Raven, plus also a Naesala who came late. I’m planning on doing Micaiah for next con season, as well, since Eirika is giving out.

The bias tape seems to be your biggest issue here. You have a good four inches on me, so at least father would still be taller than son. Imo, if you’re proud of the result of your outfit, it shouldn’t matter who recognizes you – and when someone does, it’s that much more rewarding. I wouldn’t be surprised if that Levin didn’t expect anyone to recognize him tbh. Popular character in a fandom not well known outside Japan. I think he’s pretty recognizable once you know him though.

Haha. I would normally pick a Tellius cosplay too but my love for Jugdral is too overpowering and currently where all my money is going (I already bought/have the Oosawa manga and the Light Inheritors manga is on its way. Have volume one of Thracia 776 but that was a gift). I think I’m beyond hope of salvation with how deep I’m in for Jugdral.

My sister filled me in on some stuff when she got home (she was your Lyon), but I still really wish I made it this year. Damn, though. That’s a… lot of people turned away.

Usually I only attend AB annually, and ConnectiCon I go to casually when I have the money and feel like going. Otakon and AAC are a lot farther away from me. I’ve considered going to one of them someday though.

Here’s hoping I can get a Yurius cosplay done before the next AB. I’ve juggled the ideas of Yurius, Leaf, Celice, Sety and Levin to hell and back. Unfortunately I want to get to all of them, which unfortunately is going to be quite a lot of money. Still pretty sure I’ll end up with Yurius first though. I have final boss bias on him. <3
