Longtime followers might know I drew a piece with Ruby Gloom based on the Breakfast at Tiffany's movie poster, and then did a piece for Misery based on that. Well, finally, at long last, after all of this time... here is Iris!

I figured based on her appearance in "Skullboys Don't Cry" that she should have braids, and a shorter gown would fit her personality well.

Season’s greetings all! It’s been a really busy year and I haven’t done too much art. I didn’t even make good on my requests for the anniversary (as many people have messaged me to let me know), which is unfortunate, and I have to apologize to everyone who’s hopes I raised. But, I’m happy I had time to do a nice piece for the holidays, and I hope to continue on into the next year and further. Woohoo!

Happy Holidays everyone!

What if Ruby Gloom had a Yam Ween special episode based on A Christmas Carol and Skull Boy is visited by the ghosts of Yam Ween Present, Past, and Future, which are of course Iris, Ruby, and Misery.

Boo Boo is not involved despite being an actual ghost.

Late night remembering this post from last year.

Reblog it while you can

Tune in next week for the series Finale! Season 8 episode 42- Election Day! Who will take Obama’s place? In this enviable race?

October 13th, 2006 was when Ruby Gloom first aired as a cartoon in Canada. Technically this isn’t when Ruby Gloom actually started. Martin Hsu celebrated that years ago, which of course is most personal to him. I’d say the 10 year cartoon Gloomiversary still calls for a celebration! I actually got into this show fairly late, as you can tell if you dig into my archive. I don’t know what lies in the future, but I am glad this show was created and I could enjoy it.
