Fans know Pauley Perrette for her role on CBS' hit show NCIS, but the actress is also a talented musician. The singer-songwriter stopped by the ET stage where she premiered the music video for her new song "Beautiful Child," a track with a very powerful message. "The 'Beautiful Child' video is for saving lives," Perrette told ET's Kevin Frazier. "It's to inform young kids out there (especially the LGBT kids, which are four times more likely to commit suicide) to let them know that there is a resource out there and that resource is The Trevor Project. "The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning young people. The issue has touched Perrette's life in a personal way, and she revealed the specific instance that inspired her beautiful song.
"I had a friend of mine, who I go to church with, who happened to be a Trevor suicide hotline operator. Unfortunately, her younger brother committed suicide and it was so awful," Perrette shared. "As a songwriter, I did what I have to do to deal with those emotions and I wrote a song about it, then I called in this unbelievable group of people."That group included Perrette's NCIS co-star Michael Weatherly and a few other surprise guests. "[Weatherly] is a very talented musician," Perrette told ET. "He actually plays piano on every song that I've ever written that has piano in it. And then Kirsten Vangsness came down from Criminal Minds and sang on it. My darling Lance Bass sings on the thing. "According to Perrette, "Beautiful Child" is just a small taste of what's to come. "I've got the record done," Perrette said. "I keep writing songs ... but we wanted to get this video out, you know, even before I get the whole record out.""The whole point is to get more people and more people aware and to save lives," Perrette added.

I only sent it yesterday :) Honestly I was pretty disappointed - I hoped they were about to have a proper conversation. NCIS writers are annoyingly predictable though so it wasn't surprising. Do you think there'll be anymore Mcabby moments this Season worth noting?

I think they realize that they have gold when they put Sean & Pauley together, no matter what kind of scenes - serious, goofing around. So I think there will be more moments and wouldn't be surprised if they have a 'meaningful conversation' in the episode coming up where McGee writes to his father. But that's just a guess from some woman sitting in her livingroom. lol

Has the Mcabby moment that was tweeted about already happened?

Yes, in the "Semper Fortis" episode. There were two brief conversations between them where McGee was encouraging Abby to continue dating Ranger Burt beyond her two-month limit. As I feared, they raised my expectations so that I was, well, not completely disappointed, but of course I wanted something more meaningful between them.

There was also a conversation where McGee told Bishop that he and Abby used to date. She was less than impressed and had trouble seeing them together. I laughed, but I can still imagine Tim & Abby really loving each other. And so it becomes canon that they dated a long time ago and now each of them has a wonderful love interest we are supposed to embrace.

Sorry that I didn't answer right away. Not sure when you sent your ask - I've been offline for a few days. Write me again if you still have a question.

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. — There are interesting lives, and then there’s Pauley Perrette. When the going gets weird, it helps to be grounded.
Perrette plays forensic lab analyst Abby Sciuto, arguably NCIS’s most popular character with younger, online fans, in a procedural thriller that is one of TV’s most watched prime time broadcast dramas, after 12 seasons.
Abby is “like an anime, a cartoon character,” Perrette said, looking upbeat and exuding a positive vibe on a cool, crisp November California morning.

Real talk:

is it worth me to catch up on all the NCIS I’ve missed since Ziva left? I know it went to shit but I’m not sure if it’s getting better or not (it’s been a while since I’ve browsed the tag, too painful) so I wanna know if I should invest the time or not?

For me, Seasons 11 & 12 were both really good. But my favorite character is McGee. If you primarily watched for Ziva ... well, those fans seemed to be very unhappy. But my investment in the characters has always included the whole team. There are a lot of good episodes. The one coming to mind right now is "Better Angels" which was the last episode that Ralph Waite performed in. I'm glad that I've seen the episodes. In other words, in my opinion, it is worthwhile.

Question: Any new intel on NCIS? —Marsha
Ausiello: As you might imagine, finally meeting Gibbs’ second ex-wife (played by Jeri Ryan) will be quite a thing, for those on both ends of the television tubes. “The fans are in store for some goodies,” Emily Wickersham, who plays Bishop, told Matt Mitovich. “We just finished shooting that episode, and it’s a big deal for the team. And it’ll be the same for the fans, a huge deal. It’ll be an exciting one, for sure.” (Titled “Check,” the episode is tentatively scheduled to air Jan. 6.)

Been watching ncis on and off for years

Am looking for McGee-centric episodes

One of my favorites - I love every McGee-centric episode - is Caged from Season 4. Ziva and Tony have no faith in his ability to get a confession, but he nails it. And Squall from Season 10, where he finds a way to start rebuilding his relationship with his father and we meet his Little Brother Adam.

Oh yeah, Season One. McGee's first episode is "Sub Rosa" and at the end of it they are meeting for their first date, lunch. And then the flirting went on, and on.

As promised this past August, Break.com has brought back its hit web series Prank it FWD. The newest episode gives an Iraq veteran the surprise of his life, complete with a special greeting from Michelle Obama. The episode starts off with Gabrielle Carmona nominating her boyfriend Jon Arneson, a U.S. Army veteran who served time in Iraq now unable to find employment. To make matters worse, Arneson’s grandfather (who was responsible for raising him) died of cancer and Arneson had to take on the medical bills. Prank it FWD’s host Greg Benson sets up an elaborate prank for Arneson to help remedy the soldier’s problems. He has Arneson show up for a job interview at Universal Studios, only to be taken backstage and asked to stand in for his favorite actor, Michael Weatherly from from NCIS.
After Arneson poses with Weatherly on a motorcycle, Benson shows the veteran a special surprise message from Michelle Obama (who’s no stranger to participating in do-good initiatives). The First Lady thanks Arneson for his service and lets him know the motorcycle is his to keep, courtesy of Extra. In addition to the bike, Arneson leaves the set of Prank it FWD with a job offer directly from Larry Kurzweil, President of Universal Studios.

Michael Weatherly to appear on Extra on Wednesday, November 26.

It’s an "Extra" Pranksgiving! This Thanksgiving, “Extra” is teaming up with Prank It FWD to give one deserving veteran a life-changing surprise that he will never forget!
Jonathan Arneson is a 24-year-old Army Sergeant from Torrance, California, who came home from his tour of duty in Iraq financially strapped and unable to find a stable job.
Arneson was dealt a second cruel blow when he lost the man who raised him to cancer, his Vietnam veteran grandfather, Gary. Just when Jonathan thought his world was collapsing, “Extra” stepped in to turn things around. With the help of his girlfriend, Gabrielle, the show lured Jonathan to Universal Studios Hollywood, the home of “Extra,” thinking he was there for a job interview. That’s where Jonathan got the shock of his life!  Watch this sneak peek! [follow link]
First Lady Michelle Obama, “Extra’s” Mario Lopez and “NCIS” actor Michael Weatherly delivered one surprise after another to help get Arneson’s life back on track. It left the brave veteran speechless and in tears.
Tune in to “Extra” on Wednesday, November 26, to see this unforgettable and meaningful story about giving back this holiday season!
