Using a HYPE canvas & kaleidoscope GLSL as the texture for displacement shading
Adding light & HYPE support to @praystation‘s webcam displacement sketch
I’ve been working on a GLSL shader lately to achieve a nice mandala / kaleidoscope effect directly from Processing with good performance. Slowly putting some renders up onto vimeo. The sketch has been running at 60FPS in 1080p thanks to a new HYPE class I’ve written, HSprite (it’ll be on git soon). The shader itself supports rotation and any number of slices which can be updated as the sketch runs.
More updates to HYPE. The HProximity WIP has been updated and merged into the staging branch. https://github.com/hype/HYPE_Processing/tree/staging
Another HOrbiter3D demo render. The NeonWurm. Not sure if tumblr will gnarly up the video compression again with this. Is there any way to get around that?
