I'm part of a lot of fandoms and love a lot of post punk bands. That's all you get to know.

Lucius: Just lost another elf to that Potter boy
Voldemort: Which one again? *exasperated sigh*
Bellatrix: What is it with you and losing elves Lucius?
Bobby: Bobby is a free elf!
Harry: Yeah! Tell them Bobby!
Hermione: OMG Harry! I love you!
Bellatrix: How about you tell them what happened to the last elf you freed Potty boy?
Ron: You go Harry! Wait, Hermione ... what? Are you serious? :(
Sirius: No, I'm Sirius.
Lucius: That's it, I'm blocking the lot of you

In case any of my fellow Americans were unaware this message is an echo of the headline of Le Monde on 9/11: Today we are all Americans.

My parents were traveling in Europe immediately on and after 9/11, and everywhere they went people offered condolences and asked if they’d lost anyone that day. This generosity continued for the entire five weeks of their trip.

So the very least we can do is hold the people of Paris in our thoughts and prayers.

Reblogging for the comment. I thought this was familiar.

I scrolled past a post about Cas’ flashbacks being signs of PTSD, and it made me stop to think…what a weird thing for an angel to have. Of all the angels we’ve encountered over the years in SPN, I don’t think we’ve encountered one that’s exhibited behavior that’s anything like this. The one angel that might sorta fit into this category is Gadreel, but nothing was ever really revealed to us onscreen as to the long-term psychological effects of his imprisonment.

Then again, we’ve also never seen another angel binge on Netflix.

We’ve never seen another angel develop an attachment to his choice of automobile or an affinity for hip hop music.

We’ve never seen another angel have a desire to bond and make amends with his vessel’s family.

We’ve never seen another angel enjoy texting and emojis.

We’ve never seen another angel care so profoundly for two brothers, as pig-headed as they may be.

We’ve never seen another angel fall in love with humanity.

Since s9, the show has continually been dropping hints that the other angels don’t see him as a true angel anymore; that his loyalty is first and foremost to the Winchesters, especially Dean. And reflecting back on all of that, I think that’s why the PTSD struck me as weird.

Because it’s not weird at all.

Cas may have his grace back. He may identify as an angel when it comes to his species. But no, Metatron. Castiel isn’t broken.

He’s human.
