Well, it’s come to this.

My family and I are about $2000+ in the hole. When my mom and sister first moved here they were forced to pay 2 months worth of rent (which is $550 a month), on top of putting money into a damage deposit that was almost as much as a month’s worth of rent. And because of that, we are in a situation where no matter how much we chip in, the distance between breaking even seems to get further and further away with each passing month.

Not only do we have to pay for rent ($780 in the hole + next month’s rent), but we have to pay for electricity ($248 in the hole + $150+ for next month), the internet ($43), 2 phones ($35 a piece), my student loans ($153), and general living expenses for the three of us and two cats.

My mother’s on disability, my sister has a job but it’s not the most reliable source of income, and currently I’m at the mercy of commissions. And this month is especially bad because my mom had to put money towards her car insurance and tabs.

We are absolutely swamped. The only things we’ve managed to pay off this month so far are the internet and car insurance. Everything else is stacking and with how much income we all make, it feels like we’ll never catch up and eventually be forced to move out when we don’t have anywhere else to go. We’re fortunate enough to have a patient landlord but it’s only a matter of time before it wears thin.

In short, we’re humbly asking for donations. We hope that this drive will only have to last till the end of the month should we get enough money to finally escape from this sink hole. After that, I think we’ll be stable enough to keep up with the payments we need to make on our own.

Anything will help. Even just a signal boost would be more than appreciated. The more people that see this, the higher the chance we’ll make it through this.

Hey guys! I finally have my glimmer squid pins and keychains up for sale!!

I have added 4 new colors!!

These are made with a stronger type of resin and are colored with different dyes and pearly powders, I am now using a better gloss to give it an even greater shine and the painted details will not scratch off easily.

I will be updating my squid flop listings later, they will include shimmer charms, these aren’t exactly super flawed but their colors did not come out as vivid or glittery as I had wanted, I will make a separate post about them soon!
