i have bad news everyone. i spent the better part of my morning gardening with my mum and it wasn’t even nearly as Aesthetic as tumblr told me it would be. i’m covered in spiders

um im sorry but i was lead to believe i would emerge as a level five wood witch with an army of bee friends that would brush my hair and tell me earthy secrets instead i emerged sweaty, tired, and dripping agapanthus sap

So this has been a really scary week. My cat, Puck (more affectionately and commonly referred to as Puckles) became very very sick this past weekend. After many scares and about three different veterinary hospitals being absolutely wonderful and doing everything they could to save my baby, he is finally doing much, much better. However, he has been diagnosed with Anemia and Small Cell Lymphoma, a cancer that affects his intestines and causes them to not absorb nutrients effectively. We are very fortunate that this is actually a very treatable cancer for cats, but his chemotherapy and his medical bills to determine what was causing him to get so sick have shaken both my sister @whoatess and I financially. Puck will also likely need chemotherapy on and off for the rest of his (hopefully long) furry life, and I want to do my best to be able to afford that for as long as he needs. 

I’ve always considered doing a Patreon, because I have always wanted to share techniques and resources, and I love to help others improve and achieve their artistic goals, but in order to pay for Puck’s medical attention I accelerated my plans and have put it up now. I will do my absolute best to provide ample rewards to earn your patronage, but every little bit helps us in this hard time! 

I am offering Photoshop brushes, exclusive sketches and WIPs, 4 PSDs a month, private streams, tutorials, training streams, request nights, care packages, and even 1-on-1 mentorship. 

I’ve already put up some brushes and a PSD, and will be updating actively this week to build up an adequate resource pool for patrons. Thank you already for just reading down this far and considering helping. It hurts me so much to ask for help, but I will work so hard for all of you!

Attitudes I’m 200% Done With

1) People that complain about shit but reject or mock advice about how to handle said shit.

2) Hyper cynical “the world will never change” “that’s just how it is” people.

3) Literally everything is problematic and there can’t be any kind of discussion about problematic things because mentioning a problematic thing might just summon a demon.

4) “lol who cares nothing matters”

Mostly because I’ve grown past this shit, I’ve dealt with too much of this shit, and this shit honestly just bogs my ass down. Like it literally saps all my spoons to deal with these kinds of attitudes. Like all conversations become a vicious cycle.
