challenging is the act of maintaining a complete & total legitimate facade. one that could be seen as believable from outside. though as strenuous as it is, receiving the end results would be come with sweet victory. a chuckle here & there, as well. for the time being, however, acting the part of an accommodating friend.
The squinting semi-glare the blonde shot the brunet’s way a moment later after the offer was a combination of ‘then actually start moving and looking like you haven’t been’ and idle suspicion. He wasn’t one to randomly misplace his glasses (though his brother had certainly tried to convince him he was all the times Akiteru jokingly hid the frames), but suspicion against his best friend hadn’t started yet.
Kneeling down and sifting through his duffel bag again, squinting was going to get old very fast if this took too long to find his glasses.

There was going to be a dead Yamaguchi soon enough when Tsukki actually figured out that that had happened. His classmates tittering and staring in class was starting to tip him off to that fact. Why they were staring at Tsukki while the lights were dimmed for a movie was beyond him.

Why do people forget that Tsukishima is a 15 year old kid…
Why do people forget that 15 year olds are still children, still innocent babies who are easily influenced by their experiences. They don’t know everything. They won’t always understand everything.
Why do people reduce Tsukki to this pessimistic, unreasonable no good character, when in fact he embodies the negative aspects of a high schooler, which holds a cold truth that not every kid goes through high school happy?
Why do people shit on him for not putting Yamaguchi on a pedestal? I bet every single person at the age of 15 has done or said something rude to their friends, more than once, longer than a week.
Why oh why do you hate Tsukki for not being perfectly molded? Why do you hate him for having flaws, character traits that hold a validity and a realness that’s relatable.
His character development is something I find extremely admirable from Furudate-sensei. Thank you for not giving us someone cut out from sunshine and lollipops. Thank you for giving us someone whose bitter, who has to learn on his own how to deal with his internal affairs, who just needs to rediscover his motivation.
Thank you, Furudate-sensei, for giving us Tsukishima Kei.

Tsukki looks PISSED, like, more pissed than usual. Probably bc in his eyes, the small giant stole the ace position from his brother.
Poor Yams is there like “fuckfuckfuckfuck he said the thing. HE SAID THE THING. IN FRONT OF TSUKKI.”
