like just to be clear whenever I post or reblog about how hating bandai/the sponsors is a Gundam Tradition, I'm not joking when I say it is literally older than the franchise
Tomino lied his ass off to his sponsors about the content of the original Mobile Suit Gundam just to get it produced, and basically spent the entire production run of the original series fighting them off in hand-to-hand combat. Every single change the sponsors mandated to the script, he made a point of undoing in the compilation films, up to and including removing models from the canon.
A director other than Tomino couldn't get away with that today, but whatever the fuck the sponsors say - they are not the show.
cool bocchi 🌟
being knightcore doesn't mean you have to be pro-monarchy. you can just swear your undying fealty to your best friend or your crush or something
and someday, together—
not joking I would kind of like to brutally murder whoever thought it was a good idea to take away clicking on a person’s name to see their reblog and make it borderline impossible to get to the original version of a post without spending ten minutes scrolling with ctrl f
Helpful tip:
If you have the post date option turned on you can click the date and it will take it to the original post like before. It's annoying, unintuitive, and harder to click but it should work on mobile or desktop
this is the most ridiculous possible workaround thank you SO much tumblr user suffusionofyellow for sharing
Playing The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog without having any context for who the characters are is such an emotional rollercoaster. 90% of my Sonic knowledge came from cultural osmosis and an anime I watched as a child, and now I'm being introduced to these characters at a birthday party and they're all insane. The lizard is a ninja who can read my mind, the cat is a princess from another dimension, and the bat just tried to rob me.
