Now available on Amazon and in Kindle Unlimited: Chemistry by Rachael Sommers.

An opposites-attract, ice queen lesbian romance about finding the softest of hearts behind the highest walls.

Newly minted high school teacher Lily Cross is young, bubbly, and can’t wait to put her fresh ideas into practice in the classroom. Her excitement is derailed after a disastrous run-in with a colleague. Lily didn’t realize she’d have to win over her fellow teachers as well as her students, but that’s okay. Lily’s up to the challenge.

Disillusioned Eva Thomas never imagined she’d wind up as a teacher in her hometown, or worse, suffer the boundless, puppy dog enthusiasm of a new colleague. Eva has no interest in making friends—or making nice. She just wants to survive her day and be left alone. That’s easier said than done when Lily Cross has you in her sights.

Their clashing arguments lead to sparks and then the impossible…attraction. But how can two such different people ever work?

Hello mate, i've been a big fan of your writings since the Emison days. I was wondering if you are familiar with video game characters and stories, mainly The Last of Us Part 2, Ellie and Dina? I love these 2 so much and their journey have impacted me on a personal level. I totally recommend at least watching the The Last of Us playthroughs and get to know them and maybe one day grace us with one of your masterpieces about them 😊. Cheers!

Hello, thank you! I am an occasional and casual (aka absolutely fucking terrible at it) gamer, and I have played TLOU part 1 but not part 2 yet. Maybe I will check it out when I next get the urge to play 😊

"It isn’t the first time they’ve been in this position—Villanelle thinks of pinning Eve against her fridge, smelling her perfume on Eve’s neck; thinks of pressing a knife to Eve’s stomach as Eve promised to give her whatever she wanted—but Villanelle thinks this might be the first time they’ve had an actual conversation instead of dancing around the topic.
Maybe this is what they’ve needed all along—to be trapped together with no escape, forced to confront the things they’re both trying so hard to push away." An alternative ending to 4x06, immediately following Villanelle leaving the hotel room, because I need them to have one (1) actual honest conversation and the show seems to be refusing to give that to me.

Rage simmers beneath Villanelle’s skin, sits hot and heavy at the back of her throat, so thick it’s hard for her to breathe.

She barely sees a thing as she strides down the hotel hallway to the elevator, slamming her palm hard against the button despite the elderly woman waiting beside the two sets of closed doors. It earns her a scoff and a glare, and Villanelle’s hands curl into fists as she imagines reaching out and snapping her neck.

Would it make her feel better? Villanelle loves nothing more than watching the light fade from someone’s eyes, but she feels hollow, despite Hélène’s fresh blood drying beneath her nails.

We share a bath, echoes in Villanelle’s mind, and she wants to scream.

You kiss me, she hears Hélène saying, and Villanelle presses the button again, and again, and again–anything to avoid thinking about Eve’s lips moving against Hélène’s in a hot slide.

Kate returns from Christmas with the Bartons to find a familiar intruder in her apartment, waiting for that drink...

“Home sweet home,” Kate said, unclipping Lucky’s lead as she slipped her key into the lock of her front door. “You glad to be back?”

Lucky stared up at her with big brown eyes.

Kate had no idea if that was a yes.

She wasn’t even sure if she was glad to be back herself. A week ago, if someone had told Kate she’d be spending Christmas with Clint and Laura Barton, Kate would have laughed hard enough to pull something. But she’d had fun, on a ranch in the middle of nowhere, embraced into the Barton’s family traditions without any of them blinking an eye. They’d treated Kate like she was one of them, like she belonged, and now here she was, back in the city she’d always been proud to call home.

Except now it didn’t feel like home. Now it felt tainted, dirty, lonely because her father was gone and her mother was locked away, and Clint was back in Missouri and Kate was here, lost and adrift and without a mission—

Not that she was being dramatic, or anything.

“At least I’ve got you, huh, buddy?” Kate leaned down to give Lucky a pat on the head as she pushed open the door. He streaked past her, soon disappearing from view, and Kate was three steps inside when she realized that something was wrong.

Would you ever write Kate / Yelena fic?

Soooo I have a solid idea. And about 2k written. BUT I am swamped with book deadlines atm so I haven’t been able to finish it. I’m hoping it’ll see the light of day once things calm down? But that’s the most I can promise right now!
