My mother was an atheist. She used to say that there was good news and bad news about hell. The good news is, hell is just the product of a morbid human imagination. The bad news is, whatever humans can imagine, they can usually create.

K’s existence was real. And he was with me. He was definitely crazy. But he was a good person too. He was real and I can’t deny his existence. K was definitely with me. And I liked him.

Bad and Crazy episode 10 question
I knew shady therapist was shady and the 'beautiful eyes’ comment was a callback, ha. One question I still have after episode 10 (which might be answered in a few hours lol) is this: Is it a coincidence the Anti-corruption Department was assigned this drug case and is it a coincidence Ryu Su Yeol was sent to therapy and to this specific therapist?
Like Boss Yong, I don’t believe in coincidences.
In both cases it’s Bong Pil ordering Ryu Su Yeol, so it has to be him or someone above him pulling string. Is someone higher up involved with Yun Ho? If so, why?
We know it had to be these specific drugs that Young Joo used in order to lure Ryu Su Yeol, but he works for the Anti-corruption Department, he’s not meant to be handling drug related cases. He was only told to clean up this Eyes drug business because most of the Narcotics Investigation team are either dead or in jail. Is that a happy coincidence, or did Yun Ho pull strings behind the scenes to get him this assignment?
And what a coincidence he’s sent to this specific therapist. Are they really telling me the therapist who treats cops works at a Youth Shelter? Did Yun Ho put himself in a position where he’s the assigned therapist for cops just on the off chance Ryu Su Yeol gets sent to mandatory therapy someday? Or is he once again pulling strings behind the scenes somehow?
Bad and Crazy episode 9 theories
God, this show. It kills me that there's no episode today, but on the other hand that’s another week I have the show in my life, before I have to let it go for good. So, I think the two big questions are who is Jeong Yun Ho and if K killed Yun Ho’s father.
The two popular theories are Sin Ju Hyeok and Andrei Kang.
Bad and Crazy episode 8 notes and theories
I swear this show has eaten my brain, but episode 8 really killed me and I’ve got so many questions and theories. Some notes: * First off- we’re now in October 2nd (which happens to be the number on a door and probably the anniversary of a traumatic memory), but we saw the Ryu boys’ birthday in episode 3, which we’re told is April 18th. Are you telling me episode 1-8 take place over 5.5 months? And in episode 6 we flashbacked to ‘2 months ago’ to right before episode 1 (the karaoke scene), so episodes 6-8 take place over at least 3 months??? Can someone make sense of this timeline for me? * I went back to look at the doors in the corridors, assuming they’re all dates. We don’t see the door Su Yeol opens when he sees a lake, but the number we see right before is 812 (so August 12th), so it might be that date. More dates: The two boys sitting together is door 629 (so June 29th) and the door where his dad beats him and he runs away is 521 (May 21st). Both May and June could be within the ‘6 months of missing memories’ timeframe, assuming October is when his dad ‘died in a fire’ and the traumatic event.
* There are a bunch of coincidences I’m doubting are coincidences, like choosing Young Joo who is someone Su Yeol let down in the past. There were also two murders committed under the influence of the same drugs (Assemblyman Do and Young Joo). Sin Ju Hyeok was recommended to treat Young Joo (not that far fetched, he works at a youth shelter, schools could hear about him) and Su Yeol, which is the more surprising one. Who recommended him exactly? Was it a cop whose son Ju Hyeok treated? EDIT: Went back to episode 7 and the captain says he’s the agency’s designated therapist. Why is the designated therapist to cops someone who works out of a youth shelter? * Is it routine in ROK to give an older adopted kid a whole new name, along with a new birthdate? I mean, I could see him going for it in a ‘this is a fresh start/new me, new life’ sort of way I guess, but it just seems weird to me to give a new first name to an older kid, compared to a baby or toddler who wouldn’t have any attachment to his old name. We know the birthday thing bothers Su Yeol (does he celebrate his original birthday? He must know it or there must be records of it somewhere), while it doesn’t seem like he has issues with having a different name, I’m sure there’s something to unpack there regarding his self-identity and clear cut before and after in his life.
Some theories:
this is your brother! look at him! take a good look! whatever he’s done in the past, he’s more than paid you back! he’s trying to change his life around! why can’t you accept him? why?
