“I dance sometimes... when I’m by myself, I mean.” Pidge lifted herself up onto the ledge above the campus bench. “Like, I know that a lot of people do that when they’re by themselves but I mean... I dance. Routines. The works. you know?” She turned her gaze downward at her swaying feet. “ And I kind of wonder, could I enter a competition? Could I show this to someone and impress them? I know my academic record is already pretty impressive but what if just once I wanted to... do something else. Would anyone be proud of-...” She took a short inhale.

If I’m roleplaying with you and for some reason this makes you extremely uncomfortable then I will use They/Them. i’m on a break before i gotta go do my next thing and i just had this idea for a parody. tbh im SUPER EXCITED about it. but i think it would be even cooler and more exciting if i turned it into a group collab with people here. so guys, here are the deetz:
✪ what i’m looking for:
singers
- i’m gonna sing a guide with divided parts up for grabs colour-coded.
- there are 8 lines of the song up for grabs + together for chorus!!
- there are another 8 provisional lines that could work as solo depending on numbers.
artists
- cover art + additional post art.
- I’m thinking we could get 3-4 bits of art on the master audio post spaced between lyrics! so that is 3-4 artists
- however if people were game art collabs could totally happen for this too so more people could get involved.
- again, it depends on how many people are interested.
✪ what it would entail:
i DONT WANT TO GIVE AWAY THE SONG YET WE CAN MAKE IT A SURPRISE TO PRESENT TO EVERYONE LMAO. so whenever i set the date to start the project here’s what’s gonna go down:
singers
- I’d send out the mp3 of the backing track + the rough guide.
- you just gotta vibe out your solo over the top!
- send me the vocal stems (lower mic levels are preferred i can boost the volume, better to record at a quieter volume than clip the mic that’ll be hard for me to mix nicely, and please MUTE the backing track when exporting - I just need the vocals!)
- i’ll mix everything together and master the audio
artists
- send me the art whenever you feel but preferably at least a few days before deadline.
- everything will be clearly tagged as to who has made what + they’ll be a big credits bit at the bottom of who did what.

- whilst i’ll post everything on one master post, obviously you can post art for this separately as well!!
✪ when it would be:
- logistics and stuff i can start now.
- i reckon start of october and aiming for the weekend of 16th October.
- I have to get everything together and ready for 16th October release. (PROVISIONAL DATE)
- there’s potential to make a tag #project: form voltron for more stuff and creations that stem from it!!
also fret not - i’ll definitely be doing something like this again if people enjoy it. i honestly have no idea how many people are gonna be down for this so this is my test post. it would be really helpful for now if you give this a like/reblog to spread the word and tell me you’re interested!! then i’ll make a more detailed post this weekend ect. 8))))
