Honestly, such a day merited little description.. It was dull, boring.. He doubted anything could make it worth being awake through- Though the moment he heard the barking of canines he stiffened in place. Surely there were none in his general vicinity–
“Ah-”
The sight of a small feline stole away the worry that had settled into his chest and the blond was swift in picking up the small creature. Cradling it against his chest, the vampir pulled together every bit of courage in his person- And bared his fangs at the canine, hissing aloud with the stomp of his foot. Thankfully he was something to be feared and it fled..
“Well.. That certainly was.. Something..”
Safety! Being in someone’s arms always was safe, at least never anything bad happened when people picked him up. Flynn watched as the vampir scared off the dog. And he was so thankful that he wasn’t being chased anymore.
Shifting in the hold a little, the kitten reached with his paw up. Very gently letting soft pads touch his chin. And a happy purr came from him. His eyes half closed, and head just nuzzling against Lazarus.
Little kitten just hoped that the other will understand that he’s trying to thank him.
Maybe he should try for once and catch something as gift? Ah, but people usually did not like the things he caught. Maybe Flynn will find something else to show his gratitude.
