After a meeting with Lord Sunshard in Silvermoon, Sylineth is invigorated to create a star map for the Sin'dorei' young daughter who seems destined to join Sylineth's profession in her future years, upon doing so Sylineth is granted a vision for the Leader of the Sanguine eye, and confirmation of an older prophecy he had hoped would not become fact.
"Dreadstrider", The Ebon Knight stands watching over a large expanse of Quel'thalas, the land in life he called home before he is confronted by a would be assassin. Or so he thinks.
Sylineth, feeling lost with his life having lost his ability to speak to the stars and see visions of the future, desperate for guidance he seeks solace at the Temple of Elune in Val'sharah. On his way home, trouble strikes and fearing for his life, he makes one last plea for help.
In an introduction of a new character (another one) Morfeius Somnium uses his unique skill set to silence an outspoken cleric on the request of a Spire Magister. Morfeius as an Illusionist by trade, and with his quite high skill in herbs and potions, allows him to elevate this magic in true mind-bending moments, that can lead some to lose their minds permanently.
Sylineth has become beset by a recurring vision of snow, in an attempt to gain some clarity he travels to Suramar to gain some help from both his father, and in his growing desperation Elune herself.
Sylineth has another vision while wandering the stars of the Great Dark Beyond, that leaves him with a worry that a group of people will be killed by an army of Mogu. He ventures to Kun Lai in a bid to save these mysterious people, who turn out to be Zedanis and his unit of Farstriders on a mission to destroy a Mogu threat, now accompanied with a Zul following exile of Zandalar.
Shortly after the liberation of Suramar, a group of Alliance soldiers are sent along with Astromancer Sylineth to deal with a Legion portal in the wilderness outside of Suramar. They seem skeptical of the malnourished, weak looking Nightborne at first, but when the fight begins Sylineth has a shock for both the demons and Warriors alike.
