No code will change the fact that I love you.” a prompt by @writing-prompt-s​ A/N: I saw this prompt and I was in love!! I’m sorry that I haven’t uploaded for so long, I was super stressed and nothing worked and now I’ve found a way to chill soooo here’s a Jongin scenario. (I just broke my heart with it lalalala)

He was perfection.

His eyes opened slowly but steadily and with every passing second he moved more. He was testing out the leather strips that held him on the table in a matter of minutes.

Then his eyes found you. The almost black orbs which looked so real bored into yours and gave you goosebumps. His erratic movements faded.

“Where am I?”

You gulped. The voice was more beautiful than you had imagined. Prettier than you had thought. His words felt like a hot cocoa with rum on a rainy Sunday evening, the calm before the storm.

“In my lab.” Your voice was shaking more than you were willing to admit. “How do you feel?”

Your creation was better than anything you ever had done before. You had been able to build speaking artificial intelligences before but none of your mechanism had ever been so complete, with a skin like dark honey mixed with gold and hair as silver as what your great grandmother had told you what the moonshine had looked like.

He cleared his throat. “A bit dizzy. Who are you?”

And you told him everything about you, who you were and where you were and the longer you spoke you let more and more details slip in, about the world you lived in and who he was. You told him about your job and finally you told him that he was not natural, that he was artificial, that he was your creation.

He was surprisingly understanding. He accepted his fate; that you build him to have a helper by your side, someone who made you coffee and stacked your papers and held pieces when you were working on the robots for the government. Someone who had an exceptional memory to remind you of codes that you could use.

 Days faded into months and into a year and you had found a name for him. One, that was beautiful, but not as beautiful as him; one, that matched his outstanding looks and angelic voice. You had named him Jongin and at the sound of that name his black orbs had lit up, because what was a name? He said it was a title for his personality and you fought back the comment that you had created his personality.

A friendship evolved, with laughter here, sarcastic comments there and constructive criticism. He was perfect, indeed, and you noticed more and more every day that he was the best thing you had ever created.

An especially tricky job was the reason for you and Jongin hiding in your lab and working on nothing else than the code for a spy when the discussion came up.

“So you think I can’t have feelings?”

His voice was not as angelic as it usually was, he sounded angry with a hint of desperation.

“I know that you have feelings, Jongin. I’m just saying that love, no matter for what, isn’t in your programmed code.” Your teeth sank into your bottom lip when you rewrote a small fragment of the code in front of you.

He ran his hands through his silver hair and sat down on the chair behind you. “You said it yourself: You build me in a way so it’s possible that my mind evolves. You wrote my code so that I was able to develop.”

You finished typing and turned around. “No, you are written in a way that allows your system to take in new information. Means, you are able to learn. I gave you fixed emotions and love is not one of them.”

Jongin stood up and tapped twice on his left chest, where, at least in humans, the heart was. “Well, you obviously made a mistake, because I am in love! I’ve fallen, deep, deeper than any tunnel goes and deeper than you know me. I’ve fallen for you, my dear, and there’s nothing I can do about it.”

And he went on and on and spilled out his heart like royal blue ink on wet paper and as he finished the paper was all blue and dripping blue tears, only that his tears were as silvery as his hair.

“Go ahead, rewrite it, rebuild me”, he whispered, his lips closer to yours than ever, “no code can change the fact that I love you.”

You knew it was a mistake that you didn’t say or do anything but you weren’t able to move as he pressed his cold lips against yours and you felt the desperation in your stomach and when the fire of excitement ran through your veins you realized your mistake and pushed him away.

The heartbroken look in his eyes broke you and it broke you even more when he refused to take his eyes off the ceiling as you put the leather strips around his ankles. You didn’t speak, how could you when even looking at him hurt like you were standing right in a campfire. You took the tiny flash drive from your desk and walked towards his head.

“Jongin”, you whispered, with tears in your eyes burning like fire, “look at me, please.”

And he did. His dark orbs looked at you and you saw the same kind of sadness in them that you felt in your heart and your stomach and in every cell of your body.

“I’m so sorry but I’ll lose everything if I allow this to happen.”

And then you weren’t able to speak anymore. Your throat was scratchy and you had to look away in order to not lose your mind and say Fuck it.

You touched the spot behind his ear and a small opening appeared.

“I know.”

His angelic voice sounded like shattered glass and you realized how much of a fallen angel he had become when you stole a last glance at him and put in the flash drive with the virus that would delete every fragment of his code.

You crashed on his chest the moment his eyes closed just a few seconds after and never opened again.

Seokjin: “Wow you are such a cute child jagiya!” He says as he looks at your face and comparing it to the photo, finding a few similarities.

Yoongi: “What a beautiful photo,” yoongi was intrigued by the scenery that surrounded you in the photo.

Namjoon: You showed him a photo and asked him to point you out. He instantly point you out easily and shot you a cocky grin.

Hoseok: “WAH SO CUTEEEE” he yelled when he saw the baby picture of you in the tub. “I never my you were such a cute child!!”

Jimin: He gave you a cheeky smile when he saw the photo of you in a bikini when you were in your early teens. “How come you don’t wear those now??” He pouted slightly with a chuckle in his voice.

Taehyung: He saw the photo of you sitting on a bench surrounded by pigeons. The face of terror on you face made him laugh hysterically.

Jungkook: He saw a picture of you of you in your early teens where you had very long (waist length) straight black thick hair and he was genuinely amazed. “Ah jagiya wow your hair is beautiful” he said as he look at the picture then looked at your current hair and gave you a cheeky smile.

I’m so so sorry that it took me so long to write this. Maybe it’s because a lot of myself is in this scenario, I don’t know. Well, here it is. Side note: This is the last thing I will post on this blog.  -Chris
