“The Matty V” This small box packs quite a punch with two rockfordfosgate 5.25" woofers and crystal clear tweeters. With a clean retro style, this case keeps it classy with some modern flair. Powered by a 60 watt Tripath amp and a 5ah battery the Matty V can rock all day and night 10+ hours of play time. Besides the custom mounting plate for the amp, this case has an internally wired d.I. box with external ¼" instrument input, and external balanced xlr output for use as an instrument amplifier on stage. “The Yamaha Custom” This repurposed trumpet case belongs to a Portland Oregon based trumpet and mouthpiece maker. He had this old beat up case that had sentimental value, so we conceived a way to make it bump! Two rockfordfosgate 6.75" woofers deliver plenty of clear mid and low end to this box via a 60 watt Tripath amp and a 5ah rechargeable battery. “The Tofte Custom” Created for a restaurateur and brewer in Jackson Hole, this custom case was conceived to be brought into buyer meetings, trade shows, product demos, and basically to break the ice with potential clients. In his words “I want to walk into a meeting with this bad boy blasting Wu Tang and then pop the case open to show my wares.” I think we succeeded. Powered by a Tripath amp and a long playing 9ah rechargeable battery, this soundsystem sports dual 8" woofers, miss and tweeters with passive crossovers for loads of bass and a clean hi fi sound. Custom mounting plates, digital voltage readout, shoulder strap, and custom foam interior for storing three 12 oz cans, three 16 oz cans, a 22 oz bottle, and a 750 ml bottle. Enough at least for a client meeting or a picnic.

“The Burnside”

Channeling a color scheme straight out of the Northwest, this sweet charcoal grey Samsonite Silhouette really pops with the custom painted light green tweeters and speaker grills and silver aluminum knobs and hardware. Dual 8″ full range woofers, ported and two mylar dome tweeters give a large sound powered by a 90-watt tripath amplifier and a 9ah rechargeable battery for 10+ hours of sound. 3-stage Battery Tender comes standard, as do wall power, and gold RCA inputs.

This beauty is a custom case for a musician located in Hawaii. After weeks of communication, we settled on this gorgeous Schwader Bros. wood-constructed Samsonite with faux alligator finish and brass hardware.

8" heavy duty woofers with custom gold grills supply the low end with internal passive crossovers to the mids and Rockford Fosgate tweeters.

90 watt tripath amp and a 9ah battery

SUPER CUSTOM BUILD FOR EVO PDX!!! This crazyness right here is soon to be installed up on a wall at the beautiful new retail space on MLK in S.E. Portland for EVO, a very outstanding Ski/Snowboard/Skate/Wakeboard/Apparel/Accessory/Art/Lifestyle company based on Seattle. The CEO/Owner, Bryce is a friend of mine, and we came up with this idea for the store and just ran with it. These 6 boxes are running off a vintage mid-1970's Kenwood KR-4600 Solid State Receiver and the music will be fed to it via the in-store wireless Sonos system. The boxes were just tested through the receiver and they sound absolutely fantastic. All are wired around 8-16 ohms so when running together in parallel they provide the optimum resistance for the warm sounding vintage Kenwood electronics. Make sure if you are in Portland OR any time after late October during their their grand opening, you stop by. This vintage Samsonite suitcase is small but mighty!

Two 6.75” Rockford Fosgate Woofers provide plenty of bass and are paired with two mylar dome tweeters. The grills and the port are custom painted “antique white” to match the contrasting handle.

Powered by a 90 watt Tripath amplifier and a 5ah sealed lead acid battery, this box can rock all day or all night. 

Included with the setup is a 3 stage heavy duty battery charger, and gold plated RCA inputs come standard, and as always, a wall adapter is included for powering from an AC wall source.
