I’m not sure how many of you all noticed this tiny little moment in the movie. Cora’s ‘secret’ had been bubbling on for quite some time here, and every now and then, she’d give a look that would remind us that something was not right. Elizabeth did it so wonderfully, it was so subtle, but you can really feel it adds to the anxiety of the secret without doing too much. Incredible 👏🏼

Here, they were both laughing and having a good time. All of a sudden, Cora looked at Robert, who was too busy admiring the sea with his usual skeptical expressions 😆 she just stared at him for a moment and we can see the corners of her mouth go down, and the smile is replaced by a sad, heartbreaking look on her face. It’s so amazing we cannot even see her eyes, but we know precisely how they would look at this particular moment 🥺

She then silently took his hand and gripped his fingers to savor the moment, knowing there’s a big chance they won’t experience all of this ever again 😫

I love how Robert just looked at her and asked her with his eyes if she was okay 🥹 She looked back and him and gave him a sweet smile, reassuring him that all was good 🤧🤎

The way they both cried.

They way she pulled him.

The way he grabbed her neck.

The way she put her hands in his hair.

The way she held his face.

The way she kissed him harder the second time.
