we’ve started feeding this tortoiseshell-point siamese recently. she’s beautiful, aside from the fact she has disturbingly big, bulging blue eyes. we’ve started calling her… ‘goop’

GUESS WHO HAD GOOPLETS! SIX ENTIRE BABIES! mama goop held onto her gooplings for an entire week longer than she had to, so the gooplitos came out very well done and fluffy!!

update: 10 weeks later… i have taken two of the gooplets for myself… sweet link and hella zelda are inseparable. as for the other four (trixie, dobby, poppy, and marigold), my mom is going to fix them & keep em as barn cats! 

i doubt this version will be passed around as much as the others, but it’s been nearly 

ONE WHOLE YEAR 

since the gooplets were born (October 25th, 2018). since then, we adopted their father! his name is pumpkin, and he had a severe ear infection. it cost $300 and 3 months to fix! one of the kittens passed away from a mysterious illness (possibly congenital), another was adopted, and the other four are happy & healthy. 

ALL CATS ARE SPAYED/NEUTERED AND LIVING INDOORS.

my mother and her wife also run a disabled/elderly dog sanctuary called Siempre Amigos. if you’d like to see more of that, here’s their patreon! 

They currently care for over 20 dogs of varying backgrounds & ages, and have weekly visits from a veterinarian. Many of the dogs are receiving frequent medical attention so they can enjoy their golden years without pain.

The biggest indicator that life isn’t fair is remembering that all Japanese snow monkeys have to do is sit in hot springs and chill out. They don’t have essays. They don’t have politicians.

They have class hierarchy tho only the elite snow monkeys are allowed in the hot springs and the rest are forced to suffer the cold. They’re born into their class, and they die in the same class
