Starting tomorrow I'm going to be starting Carmilla songs alongside Carmilla head cannons where there's going to be songs alongside lyrics which remind you of a character or ship. Feel free to drop some in my inbox (name of song alongside name of ship/character)
I know we probably think the first Hollstein kiss is gonna be something like a “OH MY GOD WE ALMOST DIED.” situation or maybe a really sweet moment in the dorm, BUT.
It is really going to start with:
"She cleaned the shower drain."
it would be after everything has gone down, the dean defeated or undefeated or WHATEVER, and people have probably been hurt, but they’re all getting back to their normal lives because peace has been reached somehow
and Laura comes back after class one day, to find Carmilla lounging on her bed. She’s so tired that barely says hello before heading into the shower. Barely five minutes pass before Laura suddenly rushes out of the bathroom to tower over Carmilla’s bed.
"You cleaned the shower drain?" She asks incredulously.
Carmilla just shrugs. “I had a free half hour.”
Laura just stares at her for a moment before grabbing the vampire by the front of her shirt and yanking her up to meet her, kissing her like her life depends on it. When the kiss finally breaks, Laura is panting, but says nothing and heads back into the bathroom, leaving a completely stunned Carmilla in her wake. When she finally realizes exactly what happened, Carmilla sits up properly and shouts towards the bathroom.
"What do I get if I do the dishes?"
Laura goes "missing" and Danny has a melt down and calls Carmilla out of desperation and the two call Perry and Laf who all begin to panic and freak out and get a search party ready...only to find out that she had fallen asleep in her last class and got locked in somehow.
Carmilla Headcannon #15
The last time Carmilla slept on hard wood was decades ago, nearly a century. It doesn't hurt her physically to sleep on the floor but mentally, that's a whole different story.
Knowing Laura's just a few feet away and safe makes it a little bit more bearable though.
In an attempt to get Carmilla in the festive spirit, Laura replaces all of Carmilla's songs (which are stored on Betty's iPod let me add) to cheesy Christmas songs, whilst changing the title to songs that Carmilla used to have.
Much to Carmilla's horror when "All I want for Christmas" by Mariah Carey starts playing.
Both Carmilla and Danny find out Laura is terrified of spiders. And then team up to beat the living shit out of a frat boy who knew about her fear and made Laura cry on April Fools Day by putting a bunch of fake spiders in her bag.
Ever since the argument Danny has continued avidly watching Laura's videos, knowing it's the only way she can see Laura without coming across "too overprotective"
Carmilla used to tap any surface when she was feeling down to mimic the sound of her old heartbeat. Now she snuggles up to Laura and puts her ear against Laura's chest. The beating of Laura's heart soothes Carmilla more than the sound of her own ever would.
During one of the Zeta vs Summer Society challenges they decide to test out Laura’s wide array of safety supplies given to her by her father.
Every term The Summer Society run a challenge of strength and skill to decide who their leader is. Danny Lawrence has won the past 3 years in a row.
Also, when LaF is asking Perry for something, they refer to her as Pear-bear, and it just sounds so ridiculous that Perry can never say no.
Only Perry knows how to brew coffee in that relationship. She's constantly making pots of coffee for LaF, who can never get the damn machine to work right and make the exact correct amount. Plus, LaF is too busy getting themself into trouble to have time to brew coffee.
Whilst Perry likes to clean when she's stressed, LaFontaine prefers to code.
Being a vampire and all, Carmilla knows when Laura's on her period and always makes the effort to give her hot coco.
One of the reasons Carmilla likes looking at the stars so much is because her birth mother told her that all the people that she loved, when they died they became bright stars in the sky. Every night Carmilla looks to the sky because it makes her feel closer to all those she's lost over the years. Even the girls she's given to mother.
Carmilla sleeps with things over her head because ever since she was locked in the light-tight coffin, she cant sleep with any light at all.
The gang decide to go paintballing to surprise Carmilla on her birthday. Carmilla, Laura, LaFontaine and Perry VS Danny, Kirsch and Will.
Danny and Carmilla make an agreement that they'll play without protective armour and the loser has a forfeit.
