Hello, everyone! It's the greatest time of year again~ It's time to celebrate our favorite canon couple! Huge shouts out to @chocoluckchipz for making the most beautiful animated calendar for us again this year! I am in awe of Lucky and her talent, so please send her a kind word for volunteering her artistry for another calendar. (I literally squealed and cried the first time I watched it)
Prompts were selected by the Adrinette April discord server! If you’d like to be part of prompt selection in the future, send an ask to this blog or send @purrincess-chat a message for an invite!
If you would like to participate in the event, just use the prompts above during the month of April and tag your submissions with #adrinetteapril2025 and/or @ mention this blog!
Different from before, submissions using prompts from previous years will be accepted, whether it be new works with old prompts you enjoy or old works you never quite finished on time. Here are links to each of those calendars: 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024. Just be sure to specify which year you're pulling a particular prompt(s) from.
A few ground rules:
- This is a salt-free event. This includes any harsh or negative critique of the show, characters, ships, fandom, or creators.
- Please center your submissions around Adrinette. Each side of the love square has a designated month, and there will be plenty of opportunity to create content for the other sides of the love square soon.
- For the purposes of this event, the Shadybug universe Adrinette as well as any alternate reality Adrinette presented in the show are valid for submissions.
- NSFW is allowed, but please put it under a read more and tag appropriately.

But I just read a pretty good fic published in 2014-2015 (you know, roughly TEN YEARS AGO) and I was like, damn this is so cool, I have to leave a comment, even if you know, they probably wont see it...
The author replied less than an hour later.
Important heads up to younger or newer fans: AO3 sends comments and kudos digests to e-mail addresses. We don't have to check an AO3-specific inbox nor look at specific fics to see comments. I can log out of AO3 tomorrow and ten or twenty years from now I will still get e-mails from AO3 containing comments -- and once I've read it, well, it's not difficult to log back in and reply.

No, that story is not canon to the hive series. The idea of Marinette, Chloe, and Adrien sharing an apartment together isn't unqiue to just one story I'll write, I'm sure. It just makes too much sense for that.

fuck elon musk but the privating of likes on twitter is a really interesting exposure of the absolute panopticon culture going on there
there are droves of people freaking out that they can't check people's likes before following them anymore (something i have never done or thought to do??) because "what if i accidentally follow a predator?" the pedopanic is ramped to the MAX. if you want to have privacy you must have something shady to hide.
with the general culture of "oomfs you follow this Unperson u have 24hrs to unfollow or you will be unpersoned as well" idk why i'm surprised it's considered normal to pilfer through ppl's liked posts to justify harassing them. the lack of choice on users' part whether their likes are public or not (a feature tumblr has had for years) is shitty design but i can't help but be intrigued by the panic of purity-obsessed weirdos as a feature that gave them an illusion of control is taken away
sorry guys, life isn't that easy. shitty people will exist alongside the righteous and will often be indistinguishable. the idea that you can fully avoid them by stalking their shit is not a healthy thought process. make peace with privacy.

Every now and then I think about how the fandom used to call Cas gods favorite angel then in the last season it was relived that Chuck actually hated Cas but kept having to bring him back because Dean was too depressed to go along with the story without him.
And the writers want us to think that Dean isn’t in gay love with Cas.
