I’ve made a clusterfuck of posts about this already but I guess this one’s my ‘official’ plans and stuff.

After the 17th I am not planning to post content to Tumblr further. I’m pretty much just gonna try and get people to follow myself and others on other sites, if I even bother posting further to this site. (Kinda like what I’ve been doing now.)

Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/Zedrin While all my stuff is posted for free, I do have early access on patreon, and patreon always is guaranteed to have the full res versions of images for supporters. SFW stuff is usually publicly visible as well, even on Patreon, though you do need to still be 18+ to view the page.

Webcomic: https://www.pv02comic.com/ This is the official site for @pv02. I’m still on hiatus, but updates should be returning after Christmas.

Discord: https://discord.gg/q9dTkEv This is a SFW / PG-13 discord, geared towards artists and creatives, but it’s fairly general. It also has a channel dedicated to my webcomic. I might add NSFW channels later.

I’m also looking at Pillowfort, so maybe expect to see me there when that launches.

It kinda sucks that this is all happening. This my three blogs have follower counts ranging from 13k to 26k. Tumblr has been my primary platform for years now, and for all its problems I still liked how its tag system worked (when it worked), how you could make photosets of 10 images, how you could make gifsets, asks, and how the sharing features worked, allowing you to leave comments in replies, in tags, or on posts directly. For as bad as staff handled it, and as toxic as a lot of the communities here were, tumblr survived because mechanically it still had a lot going for it. No other site has matched that convenience and functionality yet.

So, thank you all for following me over these years, and I hope to see y’all elsewhere.

Future plans for this comic

Since Tumblr’s changes, come the 17th I will barely be using Tumblr anymore, and will primarily be directing people to my other accounts.

I have yet to decide if I’ll continue to update the comic here, but it will always be available at https://www.pv02comic.com/

I’m still on hiatus, probably will be til around Christmas, but you can get updates about when my blog is back online by following my rarely-used DA, my facebook page, or my personal Twitter.

Tumblr is going around and literally deleting accounts with NSFW blogs. Not just removing the blogs, but removing the entire accounts. This is not hyperbole.

Already a few of my friends have been hit. Since I’ve de-linked I think I might be okay.

SO, Patreon’s finally implemented a role update that I have been eagerly awaiting for a while!

As many of you know, I do NSFW content on top of SFW stuff. I also have a patreon page for the variety of content I make: a webcomic, my youtube channel, animations, and art of both the SFW and NSFW variety. One frustrating thing is that I’ve sometimes there’s been people who’ve wanted to pledge but only for the SFW stuff, like my webcomic, but to do anything higher than $1 they would have to see the NSFW notifications as well.

With the new update, I now can select individual roles to see patreon posts. I’m personally using this for a SFW-NSFW barrier to give users more control over what they see.

On my page there are now two versions of each role: a SFW and a NSFW. While you still must be 18 or older to pledge, you can now opt out of seeing NSFW content while still getting the perks you want. Before I had to limit SFW roles to just the $1 tier.

It’s important to note that unfortunately the backwards compatibility’s a bit messy: pledging to a tier will give you access to any old posts that were at or below that tier’s value. These older posts may be NSFW in a lot of cases. To fix this I’d have to go in and manually edit every single post–so, this is something to be aware of if you decide to pledge and then search through my patreon’s older posts. Tis update primarily affects how I’ll handle posts in the future.

I’m a very big advocate for agency when it comes to content, which means A) you can’t control what others see or don’t see, and B) you should have full control over what you see. Patreon’s implementation of this allows me to achieve this better.

Sharing this to here too. I don’t advertise my patreon a lot, but if you’ve wanted to support the webcomic but don’t wanna see the NSFW I also make, that’s now an option!
