Enshrouded looks so different with graphics; grass exists, block edges aren't flat, window glass exists. I wanna show off what I built with graphics at minimum but now not.
Nikki needs a hobby. She can only play in a chair for so long. Song on the playlist.
I just wanted to draw again.
Copy practice Rendoas. Mine's not as slumped and dour looking, though I hadn't caught that it's called chronic migraines and that slump fits it better than my more upright looking posture. By looking at what I pick to copy I learn what I want to draw. I like sitting and leaning characters and near full bodies. Did learn I need a texture tutorial, wasn't able to guess it correctly.
Copy practice TobydogeOwO. I like the simplicity and lack of detail and use of long strokes but found myself separating the parts too much (shifting them farther apart than they should be).
Copy practice 1. Tenenbris. Scott Malin.
Do I wanna embrace visible strokes? I like bowling pin forearms with a bumpier ulna and I have trouble with jaws but Scott's head was somehow two circles and it flowed nice.
I never posted the thing I said I'd post two weeks ago because I hated it. I did finish it but it was vacant, devoid of intent, and not even good looking. Then I tried to use ai image generator for reference and it falls apart when I start the skeleton (too many ribs or vertebrae, limb perspective off, shoulder misaligned) and I'm not good enough at coloring to hide that. I see one option right now: Copy people until I find how I draw.
If I don't finish what I'm working on this weekend, I'm abandoning it and what I got.
I haven't made anything in like 2 months. I got an infection and learned how to generate images with ai. Not proud of that last one. Will probably use it for ttrpg throwaway token creation. But tonight I'm finally gonna start on something again. I'll probably be "wow this is hard, I suck again" but dang it it'll be more an accomplishment than knowing what the tags are in a particular algorithms stolen art book. They don't all know what a gambeson is.
Plush lobster. I named him Crabby.
Spell Attack and Spell DC added, but more importantly damage calculating. Learning character string to arithmetic to dice character string and getting it right was the hardest. I do have a drawing I need to finish. Ideally I'll post that next.
Today was figuring out how to do an n long modular list. Next is figuring out the formula for damage calculation and resist refactoring the 17 skills into a dataclass and a for loop.
I haven't been drawing but am making a python app to scale creatures in pathfinder 2e. Need to implement n number weaknesses, resistances, and attacks. Also damage and spell rank scaling. And nicer output/exports. This here is a scaled Ogre Warrior.
The older I get, the more important I realize the heart of a group is.
Nice 30 min drawing
Need more rubber jesters. Character design this is based of belongs to Severity Grey
I like the hat and design. Ever since Sakubo I like those hats.
I really like the kineticist feel of shaping and attacking with your element however you want. Limited to one hour, then 20min resizing the ice and cropping. Drawing audio
