You gave your childhood to your siblings and you played mother and father and you worked hard and stayed up late and you cleaned and cooked and achieved and you were fine and you were okay and no one ever had to worry about you and you worried about everyone.
And now your body is broken and so is your mind and you cannot even give yourself anymore, because there is just nothing left, and so you just burn yourself to ash trying to find worth again and you lay awake at night wondering if you are making your physical condition worse by trying to save the scraps of your mind-
I keep thinking “What if I spent my only healthy years being cheated out of my childhood.”
