KELLY THIS IS SO CUTE I CANNOT STAND IT!!!!!!
hi! suucchh a big fan of your work. i was just wondering...what are your main sources for references (both body and face refs)? I've always loved your selection of poses and models but I never seem to find anything so inspiring.
thank you for following my art! ;; u ;; My main references for faces is almost exclusively fashion models. Give me intense cheekbones. Weird eyes. Fae-features. I’m the type of person who likes a really specific face for the characters I make, so I go and find someone with a look that I think fits, and then gather as maaaany pictures as I can of their face at all sorts of angles. (Which can be difficult, not many fashion photographers want to take a profile shot of their models…)Basically I have a bunch of folders that look like this (here is the one I have for Paloma):
Eventually I’ll draw them often enough that I can do it without looking at a ref at all, but if it needs to be realistic or very detailed I’ll usually have a few photos up.I can’t remember exactly how I found this model– a lot of the times I’ll use google image search to see what suggestions it gives me. (I might have been looking at Jing Wen or Feifei Sun?) Bodies is um, where I’m much lazier and less exacting. Typically I don’t use a reference at all unless someone has asked for a very specific body type. If I’m really stuck for poses I generally turn to senshistock , mjranum-stock, or if it’s reeeaally tough I’ll scrub through croquis-cafe until I see some poses that look interesting and do some gestures to get somewhere. Basically, I’ve never been able to just draw consistent amazing detailed realistic faces in a void. And I don’t expect to? I can get kinda close if I practice that face for a while, but my brain hasn’t quite learned how to generalize things the way I want it to yet, which again, all just comes down to practice and observation. Which I can definitely use a lot more of.I hope that helps, anon!!
World of Darkness campaign where you never encounter anything supernatural. Sure, the vampire conspiracies and werewolf armies are out there, the GM reassures you, but this campaign is focusing on the DMV.

I don’t understand why books have shifted from having summaries on the back of the covers to having one-line reviews.
Seriously though. I want to know what the book is about. Not that someone from the Evening Standard thinks it’s a masterpiece.
I have been waiting for this post my whole life.
the most universally sacred childhood experience for milllenials was listening to breakaway by kelly clarkson as we dramatically stared out the window during long car rides
idk if men know this but
if you have to beg a girl into saying yes, it’s not consensual. if you make a girl feel bad for not wanting to have sex with you to the point where she says yes, it’s not consensual. if you have to trick a girl into saying yes, it’s not consensual.
