He's No Monster || Gaston & Belle
Shutting her book firmly, she turned her head to look behind her, her eyes shocked to see a figure running towards them. “Stop the carriage, s’il vous plait!” The horseman stopped the horses in their trot and the white carriage came to a halt, awaiting the arrival of the runner behind them.
Belle was sure it wasn’t Gaston, it couldn’t be! How could someone survive a fall like that and still run. His voice was just strangely similar to Gaston, that’s it! He was just a relative possibly… Belle refused to turn her head and awaited the arrival of the traveler behind her to the carriage. Though she knew it wasn’t him, Belle took a deep breath, trying to relax herself from the feeling that he may be right behind her. The french girl’s nerves rose as she waited for him to catch up.
Oh thank God, he thought to himself. He slowed as he neared, desperately trying to slow his breath. He cursed himself for being so short-winded.
As he approached the carriage, he was surprised to find how ornate the detailing on the outside was. It wasn't until then that he'd begun to wonder who might be inside. They must be wealthy, given how the driver was dressed. He nodded once in thanks to the man at the reigns, before he smoothed his hair. Gaston's breathing had slowed a bit and he was no longer gasping for air. However, when he stepped up to the door to peer inside, his stomach flipped as he gasped.
He stood staring, wide-eyed and breathless at the woman inside.
The Most Dangerous Game // Gaston and Denahi
Denahi froze too, his eyes locked with the piercing blues of the man standing below him – and gaped as the sunlight flashed on the silver of his knife. Seeing the man rear back, ready to throw it, Denahi scrambled back a bit waving his hands. He didn’t know what sort of supplies had been left in his own satchel to protect himself, but there was no time to reach anything. If the man below him was a good shot with that knife, Denahi could be dead before the satchel was even open.
“No, no, no, wait! Calm down, okay? I’m not working with anybody!” he hurried to explain. There was no time to waste, considering the fact that the words ‘I will kill you right here and now’ had been uttered. Tensing to leap from the tree and bolt for his life if he had to, Denahi kept talking.
“I wrecked on the shore here and some sunshine-haired guy came to help me out, and then he changed his mind or something ‘cause he shot me in the neck with some darts and just left me here! He even took my boat, I think, unless it washed away in the current or – or – geez, will you put the knife down already, you’re giving me a heart attack!”
He narrowed his eyes and lowered the knife slowly, but remained ready to send it flying towards the man in the tree if he needed to. He was clearly referring to the General, but Gaston was unsure whether to trust his story. Obviously the General was nothing short of an evil mastermind, and he wouldn't put it past him to plant this guy as a distraction.
He quickly scanned the tree line to his sides for a sign of any danger. Oh, right. I have until sunset.
He returned his attention to the man in the tree. "What's in the bag?" he asked, spotting the satchel identical to his own.
He's No Monster || Gaston & Belle
“Hey, wait!”
The horses pace remained constant as Belle moved along in the carriage, her eyes still glued to the book until she heard something. Perhaps it was just in her head, but she perked her head up to look around.
What is that?
Its voice reminded her of Gaston, which made her hesitate. Wasn’t he… dead?Belle saw him fall of the Enchanted Castle down into the pit surrounding it. Looking from side to side and out of the windows of the carriage, Belle affirmed her beliefs that he was gone. Gone for good and probably the better.
Belle would never wish death on anyone, of course, but Gaston, well… Gaston was certainly something. A certain something that she did not want around her, especially after trying to force her to marry him in lieu of Papa being sent to an asylum. How could someone like that be worth her hand in marriage?
Shaking off the feeling of the dead, Belle turned towards her book again to see what the mischievous fairy, Puck, was doing this time.
The carriage continued forward at the same pace. He sped up to close the distance further. He shouted again, louder this time. He hoped the driver would hear him this time, as he couldn't keep running much longer. Despite being in good shape (literally) his fitness was geared more toward his build. And with such a heavy frame, well, his cardio could be improved. Though in his defense, he didn't typically have to run much on a day to day basis.
Still, he made a mental note to work on it once he got settled again. He adjusted his pack over his shoulder and pushed himself to close the gap between himself and the carriage ahead.
It’s A Quiet Village // Gaston & Ella
Word traveled fast in the village, and usually didn’t take more than a few moments for the man to hear news of any new face in town, especially if the newcomer posed a potential threat or -more importantly- was a pretty woman.
He’d observed her for a few moments before he approached. He watched as she took in the atmosphere of his quiet village. She seemed to be enjoying it well enough, but he figured he’d sweeten the experience for her further.
He stood now before her with a cocky grin. At her meek ‘hello’, his smile widened and he spoke. “You look like you could use some help mademoiselle. Lucky for you, I’ve a free schedule today and am feeling what you could call… philanthropic.” He winced ever-so-slightly, hoping he didn’t misuse the word. He was taking steps towards being more sophisticated with his vocabulary as well as being more altruistic in an effort to appeal better to his lady-love Belle. So far it was to no avail.
“I am Gaston, at your service.” He strained the words through his teeth. “And who might you be?”
“My name is Ella.” She said graciously, giving him a sweet smile and a pleasant nod. He didn’t appear to be too overwhelming or difficult, but perhaps a bit confused in using his words. Unless he truly meant he wanted to help himself…
“I’m actually looking for the market place in the village. I’ve been sent on a few errands for my . . employer.” She finished, avoiding the topic of Madame or her Step-Sisters. “Are you from here, sir? The town seems very lovely.”
"Ella," he repeated aloud with a grin. "A pretty name for a pretty girl."
He nodded at her question. "I've lived here for the better part of my life, yes. And it is quite a charming town," he agreed, though he looked past her and admired his own reflection in a shop's window as he said this.
He fixed a loose strand of his hair as he returned his gaze back to her. "I'll be happy to show you the way to the marketplace, of course. Lucky for you that you ran into me-- I can get you whatever you need for half price."
Vanity Is My Favorite Sin || Closed Gaston and Primrose
Rose drew her shawl around her shoulders, finishing her hair with a practiced hand. It had been too long. Illnesses, political intrigue, a rather unpleasant incident with a new courtier attempting to poison her good self which resulted in a ridiculously long drawn out dance where Primrose had feigned illness in order to try to get the would-be-assassin to tip their hand - it had all taken its toll and it was only now that she truly felt well enough to take her pilgrimage amongst her people.
She had walked to the town in disguise, taken a coach to another town, changed her disguise and set off from there on foot as was her wont. One could never be too careful, or too paranoid, especially in her business. So here she was on a path leading through a small woodland that would eventually take her to the first village on her journey. It was a pleasant day, a good day for walking, and Rose could allow herself that much. it was in character to enjoy a walk, after all. Even if she found more and more frequently that there was little in life that she enjoyed period. A queen could not say such things. it was not politic.
But in truth these journeys began to wear on her. She could no more give them up than she could give up her own soul, but the longer she spent searching and the more fruitless her efforts, the more she felt lost and hopeless. Wherecould their daughter be, now? Was it even possible anymore that she could be living? Where could she be hid that even the most strenuous efforts of King and Queen could do nothing to find her? Black thoughts for a bright day, but then her thoughts were often black lately. Soon their child would have reached her twentieth year without spending one with her own family. What was a darker thought than that?
After several days' journey, Gaston knew he was close to reaching France's eastern border. A distant cousin of his had written to him, asking him to meet in Genovia for a family reunion of sorts. At least that's what he told his beloved townspeople. While it was true that he had received a letter from his cousin, the reason he was to meet him was more business than anything else.
He didn't necessarily want to go, nor did he ever like these trips with his cousin. Not because he hated his cousin, because he didn't. He was very fond of him, which is why he kept accompanying him despite his distaste for the nature of the outings. His cousin Cedric was a sorcerer, and needed the hunter's help acquiring various items for his spells and whatnot. While Gaston hated everything to do with magic, he provided the much needed brawn that complimented Cedric's brains.
Wiping the sweat from his forehead, he looked to the horizon. He knew that just over the hill was a small town where he could get some rest for a night... or two. Cedric had always been a patient man. Gaston figured he could wait.
This munday, or any day after, who is your muse played by in their official film depictions? And what do you think of them?
Well in Disney's animated version (1991) Gaston was voice by Richard White, and if I'm not mistaken, voicing Gaston is p much his biggest notable role (I think he reprised his role for the House of Mouse and other spinoffs. Honestly I think he's an excellent voice actor and I can't imagine anyone else could bring this butt to life as well as he did.
Now for the 2017 live action film, Luke Evans will be taking Gaston on and while I'm not in love with that casting (I'm very biased to my own choice of Henry Cavill) I'm sure he'll do a fine job with the role. I trust that he'll be able to win me over lol.
Hello! What are the top 5 - 10 Disney characters you would date or go out with and why? :D Please tell us 5 at least, and go up to 10 if you can think of more people! Thank you!!
“I’m not entirely sure what you mean by ‘Disney characters’… is that some new group of traveling circus I haven’t heard of? Why? Are there any eligible bachelorettes who might prove worthy to be by my side? Let me know if there are– you know where to find me!”
((Gaston hasn’t really met too many he’d be interested in dating tbh. Obviously he looks for beauty first, so I mean there’s that going for about 97% of the ladies lol. I’ll tell you this much though, he’s looking for girls that are wife material. Sure, he’ll have flings but ultimately he wants to settle down already. So I mean in terms of beauty and wife/mother skills, the top contenders would be Belle, Mary Poppins, Cinderella probs, a grown-up Wendy (we don’t do that pedo stuff), and Gothel (not that I’m saying she’s a good mom or that Rapunzel should start calling him step-dad lmao). By no means does this mean I ship these bc heaven knows it’d be a mess all around. If I had to ship him with anyone it’d be with another villain for sure. Cruella and Grimhilde may be on his radar lol. But I’ve said this before and ill say it again Gaston+Mirrors=OTP))
(ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧ Throwing some good energy your way! My what a guy, Gastoooooooooon!!!! Keep being fab, Gaston!
"Why thank you gray one! It's been far too long since I've been serenaded by a fan! I am deeply moved!"
For Munday: Reply with a picture of your muse being cute!
"Cute is for babies and stuffed animals! Now if you want a picture of me being drop-dead handsome, well that's another story!"(I realize this might be really late and I apologize!)
