There’s something about the air in the town you grew up in. It’s the same nostalgic smell, even though it isn’t. It’s charcoal and asphalt and sweat and heat. It’s ocean salt and sunshine. It’s garbage and exhaust fumes. It’s a detailed memory with blurred edges, like a picture you set on fire at the ocean in the middle of the night. No matter where you go that’s fresher or brighter, it won’t ever smell like the air in the town you grew up in.

I feel like the best time to bleach your hair if you have dark hair is if it’s already long, or short and you plan on keeping it that way; because that bleach fries all your tips and new growth and by the time it starts getting longer, it’s brittle and breaks off 😰
Each time I get the urge to go blonde my hair is half way down my back and by the time I get it healthy again, it’s shoulder length and takes years to grow out
i am constantly battling with bleach or don’t bleach! my hair is short-ish and i want it to grow out again but i also want different color hair and it’s so dark naturally that i just can’t do anything fun with it until it grows. i need some patience.
