As twitter sinks into the sea, it's time to show off our best mermaids.

I'm opening my online shop over on Ko-Fi with some post convention stock, including The Witching Hour (a Gothic Fable), After Hours (magical realism), and Letters from the North Pole! Use FRIDAY15 for 15% off to help balance out that shipping.

Letters from the North Pole

Growing up, my mother wrote me stories about what Father Christmas was up to at the North Pole. She packed these stories in beautiful bright envelopes covered in holiday stamps, and put them under the tree every year until I moved out. I still have them, stored in a lovely tin chest, and want to spread a little of that joy to others.

This year's two-page holiday letter tells the story of how Father Christmas wound up with a pack of Yule Cat Kittens, leaning on a little bit of Icelandic tradition. It includes a cozy holiday print, printed on thick, shimmery paper. It is suitable for children, both young and old.

The Witching Hour (and The Edge Effect)

The forest comes alive at night. The wind howls and whistles between the trees, and every snap of a branch may be an animal, a witch, or something far, far worse. Keep a careful eye out for shapes and shadows. The white horse rides.

“As pristinely beautiful as a snowstorm, as deadly, as chilling. File next to Becky Cloonan’s morbid, unresolved, wonderful fables. File prominently, file with pride.” - Kieron Gillen, DIE

(A self-contained short story, 34pp, available in print and digital)

After Hours

After abandoning her engagement party in the middle of the night, Olivia Cartwright discovers a fantastical shop that sells the impossible – wishes.

After Hours is Robin's third independent graphic novel. An exploration of family, love, grief, and moving forward, After Hours is a must-read for fans of magical realism. It's the best thing she's ever written.

(Another self-contained story, available in print and digital)

And finally, if you're after pin badges specifically, you can find those over at https://etsy.com/shop/crowcrownstudio…. The 15% does not apply here, but they're very reasonably priced and perfect stocking stuffers!

The Find Familiar pins are now available in the Crow and Crown shop! These beautiful beans have proven to be very popular, and a limited amount are available - especially of the cat, which is selling very quickly.

I will also have some of each with me if you're attending Thought Bubble on 12 and 13 November in Harrogate! Come say hello and adopt a DnD friend of your choice!

"Liliana Vess is a planeswalker from Dominaria and is both a master necromancer and a healer.  She cares little for others, seeing them as stepping stones on her path to greater power. It was this craving for power that brought her to the Chain Veil, an item she views with contempt at times, for its power comes at a terrible price. Though she appears to be in her late 20s or early 30s, she is actually over two centuries old.

After the Mending, she made a pact with four demons to secure her youth and power. To complete the demonic pact, Kothophed etched the contract in lines along Liliana's skin. As she cast powerful spells, the lines glowed purple; when she drew on the power of the Chain Veil, they could bleed." (Text from MTG Wiki)

Find Familiar: Hard Enamel Pins!

I’ve been working on a thing! Presenting: Find Familiar, a series of hard enamel pins inspired by TTRPG classes like Dungeons and Dragons, and our beloved dogs and cats.

Show off your love of rogues in corgi form, or snuggle your cat with a natural 20. As more stretch goals unlock, we hope to add rangers, warlocks, and druids, all 55mm tall! We’re starting off with two pin designs, a rogue and a cat20. With your help, we’re hoping to include a warlock, a druid and a ranger pup!

I’m also offering a small number of commissions to transform your favourite pet(s) into an adventurer of their own!

FOUR DAYS TO GO, and we’ve unlocked the Cat20, Rogue and Warlock puppers! We’ve still got two stretch goals to go, but if we can unlock the Druid, I’ve promised to unlock the Ranger design as well!

Come adopt a pupper!

Unlock that warlock!

I am thrilled to report that the Find Familiar kickstarter has made it to 100% funded! It's been fantastic to see your excitement for the pin designs on social media, and I want to thank you all for this absolutely incredibly start.

But we're not done yet! The campaign still has over three weeks to go, and so it's time to see if we can unlock some stretch goals!

First up: we’re only £300 away from unlocking a warlock jack russell, nose being fondly booped by their patron. I know some of you have been keenly eyeing this design, and it's definitely one of my favourites. Who doesn't love a good warlock patron who offers magic and snacks?! For our non-European friends, the shipping difference between two and three badges is minimal, only increasing shipping by £1 (or £2 if you're in Australia).
