It's a nice place to post the funny, sexy, mostly funny shit. I love Chris Evans so you'll see a lot of him and food. Oh and by the way follow me!

After Candice Patton’s casting as Iris, we have seen more black women be cast in race-bent, leading lady roles. Despite the racism that she continues to combat, Candice’s performance as Iris has been trail-blazing.

I fight so hard for my position and try to speak out for diversity and inclusion. I know how impactful it is, and I’m never going to stop fighting that fight. So if it had any impact in this industry and for young girls who look like me, then I can take all the hate that I got.

Yes! Serena & Venus got disrespected by the media, fans, & this country. Nothing was more embarrassing than Americans cheering against them & for foreigners i.e., Sharapova, Hingis, Seles, Clijsters, Graf, & Henin, but we know the “fans” will rewrite history i.e., Muhammed Ali.

how you like that #BlackGirlMagic all round?

I’m…. somewhat satisfied with how the show ended

I had to stay up and watch the season finale of Supergirl to cleanse my palate. That damn show made more sense than Game of Thrones.

What was confusing about it??

I didn’t say it was confusing. I said it didn’t make any sense. None of it made sense. All of the writing for season 8 felt like it was pulled out of the ass of a mediocre writer who really didn’t know what to do with the characters. They had stories and writing and redemption for 7 seasons, only to shit on all of it in the end. The only part that made sense was the 6 ton dragon melting the thing that everyone was fighting about and taking his momma away.

Dany making the decision to burn Kong’s landing, to Jon killing her, to Tyrion becoming hand to the new king, Bran becoming king, Jamie and Cersei’s death and so on; all of it was stupid. They threw everything that was written for 7 seasons and tossed it out the window for the shitshow that was season 8.

Do a search for game of thrones and you’ll see I’m not the only one, if you need more information.

I really feel like everyone who is upset about this season, including you, just wants everything spoon fed to them.

Just like Ramsay said, “If you think this has a happy ending, you haven’t been paying attention.”

Idk about y'all, but I could see Dany becoming a “mad queen” from a mile away. Sis was ANGRY and she had every right to be. AND idk why everyone is pissed about the citizens of King’s Landing perishing because they were the same mfs rooting for Ned Stark’s death.

Jon killed her because Arya and Tyrion were right, if he didn’t do something she would’ve ended up killing him and executing more unnecessary people.

Tyrion becoming hand of the king made complete sense. He’s literally the only man capable of doing it. And since Bran is the king it was his decision to do so.

Bran is the only person left on the show who kinda has what it takes to be king. Even though Jon is the heir, he didn’t want it. He never wanted to be any kind of leader. Plus, Bran is the three eyed raven; he can see any threat coming their way and act accordingly. Also, he most likely saw this coming that’s why when Tyrion asked if he would be king, Bran said “Why do you think I came all this way?”

Jaime and Cersei made sense, especially Cersei. She had this shit coming since S1, Jaime just got caught in the crossfire.

Everything is not going to be exactly how you want it but that’s what you got soooo 🤷🏾‍♀️

I don’t need anything spoon fed to me, let’s be civil and honest. The writing was clearly rushed and low calibur.

Of course Dany was going to go mad, that’s not the issue for me because I always knew she was going to turn evil. The issue is:

Cersei had an anti climactic death. She has been built up since episode one so to have her just be crumbled under a bunch of rocks is lazy. And to have her in the arms of a character she manipulated comforting her was not sympathetic at all.

Jaime was set up to have a redemption arc until this season so having him die with her instead of killing her contradicts the arc they created.

Having Euron killed by Jaime (who clearly should’ve died after being run through) over Cersei, who Euron really didn’t care about, was an unnecessary, lousy choreographed fight, and robbed Yara of a character arc completion. They completely wasted this character who is supposed to be a mighty pirate with supernatural powers.

I love Tyrion, but to have him once again as the hand of the Throne after spending much of this season and last season showing his incompetence comes off as contradictory and not properly thought through. Especially since many of the past episodes have shown Ser Davos as more capable and geared toward peace.

Having Bran as King after spending quite a few seasons of having him distance himself from his name and position in terms of houses. The three eyed raven is supposed to be separate from society. At least that is how the show runners have presented it. It makes no sense to put the exposition fairy on the throne.

And finally, the biggest issue that I had was how rushed everything was. HBO offered more episodes, but DnD purposely rushed everything so they could work on Star Wars and couldn’t even follow continuity of each episode (Arya no longer being on that white house from the previous episode) or properly edit them (battle of Winterfell. No, you shouldn’t have to adjust your TV or have a certain brand of TV to properly see a scene).

And when the actors and actresses are not truly happy with how the show ended themselves, why be dismissive towards the fans who are rightfully unsatisfied with the series conclusion?

@vikkidc Thank you 🙏🏾. I’m not a writer or as eloquent with my words, but that is exactly how I felt! Everything you said was spot on. I don’t need to be spoon fed and I didn’t expect a happy ending. I loved the backstabbing, lies, killing, sex, blood and gore. That was part of the appeal. Like the above poster said, Emilia Clark and Peter Dinklage were less than thrilled in interviews when questioned about the final season/episodes. I never once said that your opinion was wrong or misplaced. If you liked it that’s great. You asked a question and I gave you my opinion, I didn’t like it and I still don’t. There is nothing anyone can say that will make me believe that season 8 wasn’t a shitshow. No matter, I watched it, they got my money, so it is what it is.
