@papcrdolls !!
‘ why won’t you listen to me ! ‘ the small girl huffs, a pout forming on her lips. ‘ why won’t ANYONE listen to me about the moon ?! it’s cool shit. ‘
i really wanna get back into indie so !! like this for a starter !!
silas watched intently as the cloud of smoke he had just exhaled slowly made it’s way out of the window of the library, which he had ever so slightly cracked open. ‘ sick. ‘ he whispered to himself, letting out a soft chuckle. he took another puff from the small joint that sat in his fingers, laying his head against the wall. this was a daily occurrence for the boy--- skipping almost every period to come sit in the back of the library and light one up, hoping that the old librarian wouldn’t find him. his mom and even his friends had tried plenty of times to get him to actually go to his classes, but everyone knew he was a lost case by this point. today was different, though. he had actually begun to tell himself that maybe today he would try and attend at least a few of his classes, but yesterday he caught a glimpse of one of the prettiest girl’s he had ever seen. she was so pretty that he had began choking on the smoke that he held in his mouth, causing him to almost blow his cover. he kept telling himself to go and talk to her, but he was so mesmerized by how effortless her beauty seemed to be that all he could do was watch from afar ( in the least creepiest way possible, of course ). today, though, he secretly hoped that she would be in the library again and that he could finally get the chance to talk to her. so he sat in the back of the library, keeping a close eye on everyone who came in and out of the doors.
his hope began to fade as the bell for fifth period rang. he sighed as the loud buzzing sound rang through the library. silas began to ponder if he should just go to class instead of waiting around all day for this girl like a loser. almost as if on command, the girl walked through the doors of the library, causing silas to almost trip over a chair. ‘ dammit, silas. get it together ! ‘ he scolded himself quietly, straightening up a bit before slowly making his way toward the female. he had no idea of what he was going to say, but he knew he wouldn’t let this opportunity pass him another time. ‘ uh -- ‘ he began once he was close enough to her. ‘ you --- uh --- where did you get those --- jeans ? ‘ he let out an awkward, nervous chuckle, knowing that he had just made a huge fool of himself. ‘ i mean --- fuck. sorry. you’re pretty ---- no ! dammit. okay, i’m gonna leave. ‘

This cute girl was drawing on the sidewalk today

‘ oh, don’t be DRAMATIC, ’ is the only thing she says, dismissing the other with a wave of her hand as she pushes in through their bedroom door. ‘ your parents don’t have to know i’m here, yeah ? ‘less you wanna get me kicked out & banned from your house. ’ a soft, pleading doe-eyed look gracing her features. ‘ you really think they’re gonna notice if i smoke up here ? ’ surely, this is something she could do at her own house, but she’s in such a honeymoon phase that she can’t seem to be apart from the other. ‘ you can’t leave me alone on sundays —- i’ll get wasted so i don’t have to go to school tomorrow. ’
‘ you already KNOW they don’t like you. ‘ he huffs, rolling his eyes at the girl’s perseverance. ‘ and they’re definitely gonna know you’re here if you don’t keep your voice down ! ‘ he closes the door softy behind them, looking out into the hallway to make sure they still sat in the living room. ‘ i know nothing i say is gonna stop you, so at least blow it out the window. ‘ he sighs, plopping down on his bed. ‘ i’d make you go to school anyway, hangover and all. ‘ he flashes her a sarcastic smile, patting her on the head.
he kept his eyes trained on her, watching as she fixed her gaze anywhere other than him. the small amount of alcohol consumed along with the sobering events of the night left him completely normal, the drink he held in his hands soon placed on the sink and quickly forgotten about. “ i don’t know, cat ! it just would have been better finding out from you rather than you hiding it from me for all this time like this, that’s all. you just surprised me. ” the falter to her words had him wanting to do nothing more than reach over and comfort her, tell her that it was fine and that he’d get her help, but his arms remained motionless at his sides for some reason. “ two years ? ” noah shook his head, his hands coming up to run through his hair out of frustration, a nervous habit he’d acquired. “ do you even want to stop ? ” he questioned, head tilted to the side as he watched her intently. “ you’re not weak. ” the boy mumbled under his breath, pushing himself away from the surface of the bath until he was standing directly infront of her, his much larger frame almost towering over her. he placed his hands on her waist, thumbs rubbing soothing shapes into her skin. “ i don’t think so. it’s not really my place to get mad, is it ? more upset than mad. just worried about you, really. ”
" of course i want to stop ! “ she exclaimed, raising her voice only slightly before taking a deep breath and regaining her composure. “ i’ve tried, noah. it’s a lot easier said than done. “ she tried to avoid displaying her emotions to anyone, and crying in front of people was something she absolutely never did, but keeping herself from crying seemed nearly impossible at this point. so the tears streamed down her face freely as she spoke, no matter how much she tried to stop them. she wiped them away as she watched noah make his way towards her, though, scooting forward on the sink to get closer to him. her body seemed to relax immediately as an instant reaction to his touch. “ i’m sorry. i want to stop, i promise. i just don’t know how to. “ she reassured, a long sigh falling from her lips as she laid her head against his chest.
