Sixteen-year-old Leila has spent her entire life being passed around the foster system. She's never known her parents, never known much more than that she was born with a hole in her heart and nobody, even her birth parents, had wanted her. A few days before her sixteenth birthday, Leila is fed up with the system and ready to be emancipated.
