I’m missing nature so much these days since I’m used to see a very big park and the mountains from my window, but here I don’t have access to any green spaces, I have to run on the street and I see only buildings from my window.

So I’m planning a short trip and vegan picnic to the nearest big park for this weekend so I can get in touch with nature again. I hope I can really do it and the usual stuff don’t get in the way.

Last night I had an entire mango for dinner (and a lil cup of soy yogurt) but the important thing is I didn’t eat it because I was out of control, something that usually happens to me, but because I wanted it. I cut the mango in little cubes, put it in a bowl, poured the yogurt, and ate it slowly and mindfully, enjoying every bite. After that, I was satisfied, nourished, and happy.

Yesterday I made enough of this to avoid thinking about what to have for lunch for three days! It’s delicious, and good for the soul and the body. 

Cous-cous salad with tomato, purple cabbage (I don’t know if that’s the correct name in english haha), carrot and cucumber, dressed with lemon juice, salt and cumin.

Two months ago I was able to do de uttanasana pose with my forehead touching my knees, and now I can barely touch the ground! I want need to get my flexibility back, starting right now.

My parents came to visit me in Lisbon and brought tons of food I can’t afford or I can’t find in here like mangoes, a pineapple, a melon, some avocados, blueberries, couscous, nutritional yeast, hummus or guacamole. I’m so excited to have a mango for breakfast, this is ridiculous!
