okay real talk

I made this blog in 2012 as a secondary blog to my personal blog.

I didn’t want my real identity to be linked back to my gaming habits. Transferred it to another blog when it started getting popular. Blah blah blah. The primary blog stuff annoyed me because I couldn’t follow people from my simblr. Insert long story that no one wants to hear.

I’ve decide that since I am moving on to Sims 4 totally, to just go ahead and change this blog name as it is a secondary blog anyway.

This blog and all of my CC will remain here under this name. I know from the ridiculous amount of messages in my inbox that people still want to download things. For now everything is uploaded to Mediafire. However I got a sim file share code and I’ll eventually get to uploading them there. If you’re interested in the Sims 4 CC I’ll be uploading you can follow gelisims here.

Oh haii

So, I am maybe sort of back. Idk. Kind of. I want to be. Life has been hectic. I’m hoping things slow down after the holidays.

For now, tumblr has been updated. There are working links to all of my downloads now that I could find. If a link is broken please let me know. Reblogs and original posts prior to November 12th 2017 will probably still stay broken as I just don’t have it in me to go through and change them on my blog, and I can’t change reblog links anyway.

All of my Sims 3 content is no longer supported. I do not have access to the game anymore as of right now. You can still download them though (here’s a link with shady preview pictures as well.) and I imagine the stuff works, but Sims 3 is no longer a priority for me and I will no long be creating for or updating that content.

That said, I am really enjoying Sims 4 right now. And I’ve got multiple projects started for it. It’s just finding the time and motivation to do it. Le sigh.

I am also adfly free now. ;)

My Old Sims 3 Downloads - With Working Download Links

HIYA SIMBLR!

So terribly sorry for the long absence. We bought a house and moved last year, had a death in my family, and at some point the boyfriend upgraded the servers that Gelisims ran on, and he accidentally deleted all of my CC preview pictures. Excuses, excuses.

I’ve sat down and gotten all of my old tattoo download links together after a flood of messages. Unfortunately, they’re all just links. I don’t have time to open the Sims 3 on my laptop and deal with the tattoo packs that I’ve made to take preview pictures that the boyfriend deleted. It’s so very laggy.

Luckily I included preview pictures in most of the “newer” zip files. Maybe at some point I can sit down and deal with the older ones, but until thennnnnnNNNNnnn.. Giant list!

The Internet Slowdown is coming, and it's going to be huge.

Hey there,

Exciting news! The Internet Slowdown net neutrality protest planned for September 10th is really taking off. This morning, a dozen of the world’s largest websites announced that they’re joining in a big way. Sites you know and love like Etsy, Kickstarter, Wordpress, Vimeo, Mozilla, Namecheap, Foursquare, imgur, and reddit.

Oh, but that’s not all that happened this morning. Just a few hours ago I got a phone call from a number in Washington, DC. The person on the other end tried to ask some questions without identifying themselves, but when I asked outright they told me they were from NCTA — yep, as in the National Cable Television Association, aka Comcast’s lobbying army.

 They wanted to know when we would be announcing the names of the companies participating in the September 10th net neutrality protest. I suggested they take a look at the front page of The Guardian, or at this op-ed by the CEO of Etsy in Wired, and mentioned they may want to check out this TIME Magazine article. Then I hung up.

After the call, I couldn’t stop smiling. I’ve been organizing for many years and one thing I’ve learned is that powerful enemies only start contacting you when they’re scared. If they don’t think you’re being effective, they ignore you.

Friends, we are giving some of the most powerful interests in the world a run for their money. And they have tons of money. We’ve got Comcast & company shaken up and scared. This is our chance to to drive the message home and win this once and for all.

If you’ve got a website, blog, or Tumblr run the “slowdown” widget on your site to symbolically show your users a “loading” message and help people understand what the Web could be like without net neutrality. If you don’t have a site, change your profile pic to the “loading” symbol, so that the entire Internet is alive with protest on September 10th, and forward this email to everyone you know to spread the word.

The truth is, unlike Comcast and their cronies, we have nothing to hide. A report from the Sunlight Foundation yesterday showed that 99% of comments the FCC has received are in support of net neutrality. The public agrees, and hell hath no fury like the Internet scorned. As I write this email, I’m feeling more hopeful about our chances of victory in the battle for net neutrality than I have since we started this fight.

Last chance. We need you for the Internet Slowdown on September 10th. Are you in?

We can win this, and when we do, it’s a victory we can put in the history books.

If you were having trouble with these tattoos:

Something happened.. idk what, that turned them into a "file" instead of a ".rar".

If you've already downloaded them/still have them on your computer: You should be able to open it using WinRAR. Both files were there when I tried it.

If you downloaded them and deleted them: I've repackaged, double checked, and switched out the links for the download. So you can re-download them.

I'm super terribly sorry. I have no idea how I even did that. :(
