Theatripod Casting Call: Sherlock Holmes fandom

For anybody interested in auditioning for a theatre-style podfic of the Sherlock/Watson preslash fic The Art of Disguise, directed by dr_fumbles_mcstupid, there has been a casting call posted here.

Auditions close next week, and we are still very actively looking for performers for this. (No acting experience needed.) So we’d appreciate any help we can get with signal-boosting this week!

Pod Aware 2014

November is just around the corner, so you know what that means! Pod Aware! This year Pod Aware will run from November 13-17, but I need your help to make this happen! First thing we need, are some suggestions for the daily topics. Our first round’s topics were: Podfic 101/Why We Podfic, Blanket Permission, Author/Podficcer Relationships, Accents, Feedback, Repodding, and Encouraging Podfic. The topics of our second round were: How We Podfic, Podfic Fandom, Recs, Acting, Special Effects, Collaboration, and Feedback. As you can see some of those topics have been repeated, and we can repeat them again this year if people want or we can introduce new topics, but I need to know what people are interested in. Secondly, I need volunteers. I’ll need help creating the round up posts, which link to all the entries from the previous day. I’ll also need help creating the podcasts that get posted each day. Please comment (on DW or LJ) to volunteer or share ideas.
