"WATCH OUT!"
Tsumiki jumped at the sound of someone shouting, looking around in confusion to try and figure out where it was coming from. By the time she had turned to find the source, though, the nurse gasped a bit as a body collided with hers and both went sprawling onto the floor.
"O-ow…" she grunted as she rubbed the back of her head, feeling a small bump beginning to form. "O-oh! A-are you a-alright?!" she called out to the other who had fallen to the ground with her. "I-I’m terribly sorry! I should have b-been paying more attention!" She rushed to the girl’s side, eyes darting to see if there was any immediate, noticeable damage to her. "Please l-let me take you t-to the nurse’s office so we c-can make sure you’re alright." she pleaded, wanting to make sure she took care of the trouble she had caused the poor girl.
"No reason. I, um…" Mirai’s uninjured hand slipped off her glasses and cleaned them hurriedly on her jacket. "J-just asking! I thought I h-heard of some weird occurences. Around here. And stuff." She said a bit shakily.
"Ah w-well I’m actually the w-worst person to ask about any r-rumors floating around the school." she laughed a bit nervously as she gave some final adjustments to the brace. "I don’t r-really have many people t-to talk to here so I never u-usually hear about much that’s been going on until m-much, much later."
Though it did make her a little curious about what was supposedly going on. “If it’s not too much t-trouble, may I ask what I s-should be looking out for? That way I c-can try to find you in case I might e-encounter something strange.”
"I don't think you should search for anything..." Mirai muttered, almost inaudible. "N-not to be rude, I just, uh...I was just wondering if..." She rubbed her glasses again. "If anyone else had heard of, uh, strange happenings. Nothing really worth searching for."
