i felt a definite improvement after leaving tunglr and honestly wish i hadn’t logged back in. i thought there was no way people could continue to justify bullying and harassing others in the fandom after the vld podcast confirmed the garrison is a college/military organization, but that was definitely putting unwarranted faith in a part of the fandom that has thrived off of being hateful from the beginning.

this has been a shit fucking awful summer and voltron was the one thing that made me feel a bit less terrible by giving me something to look forward. i would not be so livid about shipping, of all fucking things, otherwise. 

but i’m done ranting here. it doesn’t matter whether you play nice or get mad when it comes to bullies. voltron has become just another shit fucking awful thing about this summer that i want to move on from.

i wanted to be excited abt the panel at nycc but all i feel is dread, because no matter what is said there’s going to be more unnecessary drama.
