Morgan Vogel has been found dead. She hiked to a remote forested area in Massachusetts and committed suicide by jumping off a bridge into a river. She constantly created and destroyed work. She was incredibly intense, intelligent, knowledgeable and funny — a fierce and total artist. You may have had an encounter with her work without realizing it or without realizing it came from the same hand as something you encountered elsewhere.

She’s the author of the 2d title The Necrophilic Landscape as Tracy Auch. Her work appears under two different names in Mirror Mirror #1, ed. Blaise Larmee. She was interviewed in Altcomics Magazine 4.

Love you Morgan. XOXO </3

It’s been two years since our last release.

This season we have three new titles and we’re bundling them together with three classic works.

Röhner by Max Baitinger. Röhner’s coming to crash and he’s going to ruin your life. Dry, funny, perfect. Keywords: Coffee, gin-and-tonics, parties, IKEA, eBay, Röhner (oh no…), RÖHNER (OH NO!)

Copy Kitty by Kyung-Me. A cat loves a boy. See it all play out across landscapes abounding with references to Korean folklore and Looney Toons, 20-hour graphite drawings. Hardcover.

Mirror Mirror III. The latest installment in our flagship anthology. Here Brooklyn-based collective Plum — Haejin Park, Paige Mehrer, and Sophie Page — will show you interactions between fairies, food, and energy taking place within streams, on the dinner table, and hidden in the grass.

With these you receive 3 additional titles from our catalogue:

Maggie Umber’s wordless, extensively researched piece on great horned owls. Sound of Snow Falling.

A collection of Austin English’s animated paintings of figures overwhelmed by grotesque feelings in the city. Die Brücke electrified. Gulag Casual.

And Yours, the sonorous debut book from Margot Ferrick. Words breathe, swell, arrive, and recede. Ferrick Channels intensity into intimacy, transforming their singular subject — audiences. Love letters.

Complete your collection or give some books to a friend.

Three classic titles and three new works.

Bundled together for $39.   The Spring Collection.

Thank You. 2dcloud

ARTIST BOOK BOXES AT THE CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE.

2019 is our 12th year of operation. The last few years have been especially difficult. This is our plan to get caught up on outstanding artist royalties and printer debts: sales of artist book boxes from the past, and future. Leading this charge will be our 2019 Spring Box. This is our new wave. Visually stunning curated boxes of books from $9-$99. Launching this March on   Kickstarter. Stay tuned.

It’s been a minute! I’m pleased to share with you another texting interview, this time with Kim Jooha, Publisher at 2d cloud, one of my favourite places to discover new comics. (Previous interviewee, Gina Wynbrandt, is a 2d cloud alumna.)

Also, some of you might remember the man gracing the cover of my Dead Intellectuals Hot List zine is Michel Foucault so Jooha’s take down of continental theory was thoroughly unexpected!! :O Enjoy :)

It was an honour to be interviewed by super brilliant @kawaishen.

Spoiler: I am NOT a cinephile & I am a positivist.  cf. psychoanalysis : psychology = alchemy : chemistry
