Seasons First Meet || Merida & Jack
Merida grumbled as she stirred, blinking a few times to clear the grogginess from her eyes. She slowly pushed herself to her feet, taking note of the blanket with a slight smile. She allowed herself one glance back at her sleeping family before joining Jack, standing by his side. It was difficult for her to just up and walk away from her parents, and her brothers, but staying behind would have been even worse. This way, there was a chance that she could protect them, which she couldn’t have done if she had stayed in the fortress.
"So, where to first?"
"Away from here. There is a town not to far, up North of here... It's usually filled with people but recently it's been abandoned... It's... Eerie and there is something there, I feel it." He clutched a hand over his heart. Stretching, he looked around as the people slept, noticing Merida's family.
"We'll get back to them before they even realize what's happened." He offered the best smile he could in the circumstances.
Arrangement || Elsa & Jack
The memory of yakisoba and ramen noodles sent a shiver through her spine. Curse, the small apartment that were given to them by the agency. It was barely furnished with a kitchen, let alone a proper refrigerator. Once they had finished the mission, Elsa was ready to leave the place because she could not live in takeout orders.
"Why would they surprised to see me like this? Remarked Elsa. She had not missed the wink given to her and dismissed it with a roll of her eyes. Honestly, his easy going attitude will be the death of her one day.
"Because. It's not often one of the top female agents could double as a housewife. Not that you are a house wife..." He quickly added the last part, not wanting her to think he was being sexist. If he had any other choice in life, he would have chosen to be a normal person, but with his skill set it just wasn't an option.
"Besides. Kinda nice to have a partner who can cook. Lord knows I can't.
Existence || Elsa & Jack
Elsa has seen many sides of Jack. Yet, this vulnerable and terrified expression shocked her.
“You won’t lose me” Stated Elsa. Shaking her head, she wanted to laugh at his statement. If he knew it or not, they were held together so tight that it would take the pits of Hell to break it. She would not let anything keep her way from his side and she knew that he would do the same for her.
"Look at me" Whispered Elsa. Cupping his face, she forced his eyes to connect her. The eyes were the soul of a person and Elsa wished that it was true.
"…I’ve never loved someone before, too. Don’t run away because it hurts. It hurts to know that you are so afraid of the outcome that you would avo- forget me" Cracked Elsa. In the midst of her explanation, she guided his hand against her beating chest. Underneath, she hoped that he could hear her heart. The heart that she would give to him without a moment’s hesitation.
Jack felt his own heart skip beat and start to beat in a simlar rythmn to hers. Hearing Elsa's voice crack, his heart thumped hard one more time. Taking her free hand, he placed it against his chest, micmiking the position she held his hand in.
"I couldn't forget you if I tried, Elsa. You are a part of me now." He watched her closely for any acknowledgement of his heart matching hers, of the warmth his usually cold skin showed for her. As hard as he tried, his emotions always won out to his logic. He guessed it had to do with being a spirit.
Jack paced back and forth, trying not to say anything. Seeing Elsa with others, interacting with others, made him jealous. He wasn’t sure how to respond and he didn’t want to feel this way, but it was hard. He hated being insvisible, hated being known as a ‘figment of imagination’. As Elsa walked back over to him, he put on a smile, covering how he was feeling.
"Something wrong, Jack?" She asked, putting a hand on his. He looked over to her and smiled softly, unable to ignore her pretty smile.
"Nothing… Just… Jealous. You can interact with people… I just… I want to be believed in."
Elsa gasp, quietly before gazing her eyes upon his own. They were such a clear blue that would rival a sapphire. In the darkest depth of her mind, she would admit that she could stare at his beautiful eyes for hours.
"Jack…." Whispered Elsa.
Love was a foreign concept to her. Years of isolation had made her heart weary against any interactions other than Anna. Even after the coronation, she had shied away from human contact unless absolutely necessary.
Jack felt his cheeks flush and suddenly wished she was facing the other way. He watched her eyes and felt himself floating gently in the night air.
"Yes?" He bit his lip and continued to take in the way her face looked in this moment, the way her eyes glittered brighter than any star, the way her hair seemed silver in this light, and the warmth or her next to him, pressed to his body.
Frost Versus Ice || Elsa & Jack AU
Her eyes fleeted to his hand which wrapped around her arm. Elsa had never felt it before but shocks raced though her arm and straight to her heart. It was such a foreign experience that she nearly rip her arm out.
“I’m glad” Whispered Elsa. sending a tiny smile. Hearing his words gave relief to her mind. Jack did not know how much it meant to her.
Jack smiled and let his hand slid down her arm until it reached her hand.
"I am too. I just... I didn't expect my night to be so good..." He offered a smile and caressed her hand gently.
Finding Myths || Hiccup & Jack
Hiccup narrowed his eyes slightly, confused. “The only other pets are yaks and sheep, and they don’t do much, so actually they are.” he shrugged, staring absentmindedly at a squeaking Terror as it flew by lazily. “Training dragons isn’t very hard, either. You just have to establish a trust bond.” he repeated the words that many insisted were his ‘catchphrase’, usually with an annoyed look on their faces.
Jack listened carefully, but became distracted when the tiny dragon flew by. Was that what all Dragons were like?
"Are all dragons that tiny?" He felt as if he were asking questions that he should know the answers to, but as much as he knew about the world, he still had things he could learn.
Unexpected Company || Pitch & Jack
—[♚]— Pitch watched the tears fall from Jack’s face, his expression blank, almost uncaring. But deep down, he truly did care. Pitch knew that he would always feel kinship with Jack, he who knew how hundreds of years of loneliness felt. “What is done is done,” Pitch said, dismissing, but not accepting Jack’s apology.
"You’re here now…" Pitch continued slowly, his eyes narrowed. "I had thought that I was to face another thousand years locked away in the shadows, this time not by a spectral dagger, but by my own creations and downfall. It seems I was wrong."
"No one should be alone that long. I'm not supposed to be here, but for some reason I ended up here." He wasn't ready just yet to admit to his feeling of friendship towards the dark man.
"We can't trust you... And yet I do. You never lied." And it was true. Pitch never outright lied, he just had different goals in the long run.
