I just want to say I really enjoy The Sims Network. I just joined earlier today, but so far it's been addicting and I found myself refreshing the homepage every 5 minutes. It's sad to hear the news that the new server isn't going so well for you. I bet it's very difficult to deal with, but the struggle is worth it in the end, right? I just want to thank you for creating such a wonderful site :)

Yeah but it’s a little annoying that the server is not responding how it’s supposed to be, but I will continue to do what’s best for TSN and the Simmers

so i signed up for that new sims network site and i can’t log in. i didn’t get a confirmation email or anything. i assumed that i had missed an issue when registering so i tried to do it again and and my username/email say they’re already in use. wahhhhhhhh

edit: it’s down now so maybe i wasn’t the only one with the problem?? i hope they can fix my account :c

Hi,

You don’t need to activate your account as activations have been disabled for now, you can just log right in. :)

If you’re experiencing loading issues please clear your cache.

Our server is going to be running slow for the next 24 hours until everything has been updated, this is out of my hands for the time being, apologies.

Finally we are back online, we also have a new domain name.

the www.thesimsnetwork.com still works but will be redirected to our new server

I’d like to apologies on how long this server migrating is taking, it will be worth it though.

Got some new features being added too.

^^^^ each file has been taking about 1-2 seconds to transfer, these are all the server files by the way.

Hi all,

So far so good, I thought the migrating would have been completed by now but unfortunately it hasn't just yet, I said it would take maximum of an hour and it’s way longer then that and I apologize, our old server doesn’t want to give up and it’s running slow so it’s going to take a little longer then expected.

Upgrading servers

Hi all,

The Sims Network is now going down for an hour, we are going to be upgrading our servers to fix many issues and to improve the site performance, I will be posting live updates here, thank you!
