Herbert Lom-the PHANTOM OF THE OPERA (1962)
There’s magic in the air…

We took the costumes to AnimeFriends in Buenos Aires (because doing actual anime cosplay is overrated), and oh god I don’t ever want to carry this dress for a boat trip again, ahaha.
HOWEVER! I love the pictures we got from Ezequiel Mendez from Otaku No Baires and I wanted to show them off!!
I promise this is the last batch of Christine pics I’ll post ever, but I wanted to show these off because this is CRAZY and I LOVE them. My butt looks so cute in the first pic, a shame I couldn’t bring another pic of my backdrapes since those are my pride (I’m unfortunately very very dumb) but they can be seen in my wishing dress tag here.

Finally finished with the Phantom’s Red Death costume!

The Phantom of The Opera (1989) Dir. Dwight H. Little
The Phantom is real. It has a name. Erik Destler. I know the legend as well as you. He sold his soul to the devil so the world would love him for his talent. The devil had a price. He mutilated his face so terribly, that no one could stand to love him ever again.
And it’s said the only way to kill the Phantom is to destroy his music.

Let’s do a little dance.
“On a lighter note when Hugh Panaro came in to sing “All I ask of You”, he came into the control room to listen to the track with Butch and I, and immediately started singing right there and I said “no, no not here you gotta go into the booth”, and he said “I cant help it, it’s in my bones!” and he jumped down on his knee and performed the rest of the song for me and Butch! We all just laughed. He was a delight. I think he got it on the second take.“

“The Man Behind The Monster” - Digital Oil Painting
This started out as a Doctor Who Beauty and the Beast AU painting, but as I was looking for a nice reference pic of CE as Nine, I found this awesome pic of him as Malekith with the Dark Elf mask in his hand. And suddenly, it was a perfect Phantom of the Opera AU with some BatB overtones! I really like how it turned out. ^_^
This is NOT a Photoshop filter, every stroke is painted by me.
Crossover madness but LOOK AT IT.
