Send a ship and I’ll tell you:

who is more likely to hurt the other? I think emotionally, maybe Lydia would be more likely to hurt Jordan by accident. Maybe even physically with her scream, but it’s been proven the hellhound can withstand it.who is emotionally stronger? Jordan probablywho is physically stronger? Also Jordan. Screams aren’t technically physical, right?who is more likely to break a bone? Lydia. Damn supernaturalswho knows best what to say to upset the other? Lydia. She’s too smart for her own good but she doesn’t really do it.who is most likely to apologise first after an argument? Jordan. Always. He just doesn’t want to fightwho treats who’s wounds more often? Jordan heals, so he’s often treating Lydiawho is in constant need of comfort? Both of them. who gets more jealous? Lydia. But it’s extremely rare. They know they’re very committed who’s most likely to walk out on the other? I’d say neither. Jordan maybe if he feels like Lydia needs time to herselfwho will propose? Jordanwho has the most difficult parents? Lydia (Jordan’s are kinda dead in my headcanon)who initiates hand-holding when they’re out in public? Either onewho comes up for the other all the time? Equal?who hogs the blankets? Lydia. If she’s not using Jordan as a blanketwho gets more sad? Either one. They’ve both experienced extreme losswho is better at cheering the other up? Jordan is able to get Lydia to smile almost as simply as kissing her cheepwho’s the one that playfully slaps the other all the time after they make silly jokes? Lydiawho is more streetwise? Jordan, he is a copwho is more wise? They both have their own types of wisdomwho’s the shyest? Depends who boasts about the other more? Marrish Au → After being attacked and nearly strangled to death by one of her rabid fans, international supermodel Lydia Martin decides to hire a personal bodyguard to accompany and protect her. Enter Jordan Parrish. Though he was a newbie to the personal protection business, his extensive army and police training made him the perfect candidate. As they travel, the two grow closer. Lydia couldn’t deny their physical attraction, especially during their hand-to-hand defense lessons, but it was harder to deny her heart. Lydia’s been hardened from years of hard relationships but Jordan makes her feel something she hadn’t in years — happy.

Anonymous asked:

Marrish moving in together

Jordankissed Lydia’s neck until she stirred awake.

“Whattime is it?” She mumbled.

“Alittle before ten,” he answered.

Lydiagroaned.

Shewas supposed to leave Beacon Hills at eleven if she wanted to be on time forwork-study.

“Idon’t want to go,” She muttered, turning around to bury her face againstJordan’s chest.

Hesmiled, running his hand through her hair. “I don’t want you to go either, butyou have to.”

“Can’tI just stay here with you?” Lydia whined sleepily. “If I go back I won’t get towake up in your arms for five whole days.”

Hedidn’t respond for a moment, then said,”Move in with me.”

Lydiapulled away enough so she could see his face. “What?”

“Let’sfind a place near your school and move in together,” Jordan suggested, lookingmore nervous than she’d ever seen him.

“You’dreally want to do that?” Lydia asked.

“Yeah,I mean, if you want to,” Jordan said, sounding a little shy about it.

Lydia surged forward and kissed him.

“Isthat a yes?” He asked when she finally pulled away.

-

“Jordan,watch out!” Lydia shouted.

“Wha—Ah!”

Jordanfell to the ground with a loud thud.

Lydiarushed over to her groaning boyfriend, helping him sit up. “Are you okay?”

“Yeah,I’m fine, what did I trip on?” He looked around, hoping to find what had madehim face plant.

“Youtripped on the box of books I asked you threetimes to take upstairs,” She said with a smirk.

“Ugh,okay, I’ll take them up now,” Jordan promised.

“Youcould at least pretend you’re not amused,” he added when her smile widened.

“Where’sthe fun in that?” She teased.

Hegot up, muttering under his breath about stupid boxes being in his way.

“Someone’sgrumpy today,” Lydia commented as she went to finish unpacking her moviecollection.

“I’mnot grumpy,” he said, in what obviously was his ‘I’m grumpy’ tone.

“Mmhm.”

Jordanpicked up the box and headed upstairs to put the box away, deciding he’d let Lydiaunpack it later for smiling at his pain.

Whenhe went downstairs, he didn’t see his favorite red head where he last saw herin the living room.

“Lydia?”He called.

Shedidn’t answer him.

Hewent to the kitchen, but she wasn’t there either.

“Lyds?”He called a bit louder.

Nothing.

Shewasn’t in the dining room, or the bathroom so he went upstairs. He lookedthrough all the rooms and called for her again, but she wasn’t there.

Panicstarted to build in his chest and he ran downstairs to investigate.

Somethinggrabbed his leg when he walked by the couch and Jordan let out a high pitchedscream he hadn’t known he was capable of making.

Itwasn’t until the lilt of Lydia’s laugh reached his ears that he realized whathad grabbed him.

“Lydia!”He exclaimed weakly.

Lydiawas now rolling on the floor laughing.

“Ohmy god! You scared the crap out of me!” Jordan shouted.

Lydiasat up, still laughing, only to be tackled by her boyfriend.

“Hey!”She protested.

Jordanpinned her arms above her head using only one hand. “Stop laughing at me! I wasworried something happened to you!”

Lydiamade a choking noise as she abruptly forced herself to stop. “I’m sorry, but Ididn’t know you could scream like that.”

Thehumor in the situation hit him and he laughed as he said, “Me neither.”

“Maybeyou should be the Banshee,” Lydia teased.

“Onlyif that means I get to see you walking around half naked as the Hellhound,” Hestipulated.

Lydialaughed. “Deal.”

Amoment passed where they were just looking into each other’s eyes, smiling andthen Lydia’s hand was on the back of Jordan’s neck, pulling him into a kiss. Hedeepened the kiss and didn’t stop until they needed to breathe, then opting tokiss her neck.

“You’renot trying to get out of unpacking are you?” Lydia asked, a little out ofbreath.

“Never,”Jordan mumbled against her neck.

“Good,“Lydia said, squirming out from under him and getting up quickly, “then let’sget busy.”

Jordangot up with a reluctant sigh. “I’ll unpack the dishes.”

Lydiakissed his cheek and he perked right up.

-

Lydialaid in the middle of the floor next to Jordan, admiring their handy work. They’d decided to paint their guest room a light shade of grey, thinking theywanted it to look modern.

“You’vegot paint on your face,” Jordan said.

Lydiafrowned, touching her face. “Where?”

Jordanreached towards her.

“Riiiiiightthere!” He exclaimed, suddenly swiping his thumb across her cheek and smearingpaint on her.

“Youdidn’t!” She gasped.

“Idid.” He said triumphantly, flashing his perfect teeth at her.

“Oh,it’s on!” She declared, scrambling to get her paint brush.

Beforeshe could even turn around from grabbing the brush, she felt his strong handsgrab her arms and then retract. She felt the paint left behind and that spurredher to whip around swipe a stripe across his neck, knowing he was ticklishthere.

Helaughed and tried to get her again, but she ducked and managed to get paint onhis side where his shirt had hiked up.

Jordantwisted around and grabbed Lydia in a bear hug, using the opportunity to slidehis hands up her tank top and leave grey handprints on her lower back.Meanwhile, Lydia batted the brush against his side, getting splats of paint onhis arm and shirt.

“Cheater!”Lydia accused as he ran his hands up her back, leaving a trail of paint.

Jordansmiled. “All’s fair in love and war.”

“Isthat so?” Lydia asked.

Jordannodded.

“Okay, then I guess I can do this!” Lydia wrapped her legs around his waist, throwinghim off balance with the sudden shift in weight, causing him to loosen his gripon her.

Shemanaged to unwrap her legs before he fell with her on top of him.

Toadd insult to injury, Lydia painted both sides of his face.

Whenshe reached over to dip her hands in the paint well, Jordan wrapped his armsaround her and turned them over, straddling her waist.

Jordanstared into Lydia’s eyes and they both started laughing at how ridiculous theylooked. It felt nice to laugh at themselves.

ThenJordan noticed Lydia flick her eyes to his lips, then back to his eyes andeverything shifted.

“Ilove you,” Jordan said, tucking Lydia’s hair behind her ear, getting paintthere too.

Lydiasmiled, reaching up to touch his face. “I love you too.”

“I’dhope so or moving in together would be a mistake,” he mumbled against her lips.

Jordankissed her chastely, but Lydia had another idea and kept him right in placewhen he tried to pull away, licking her way into his mouth once he got thehint.

Thepaint war was momentarily forgotten as things escalated into something morefun.

Whentheir friends unexpectedly came by with dinner, they pretended not to see thehandprints on Lydia’s thighs or the ones on the back of Jordan’s neck. All inall, it was a good move in day.

I hope you like this! I know I took way too long to get to this and I’m sorry!-Jay

Marrish AU: Pacific Rim "Whether two pilots are "Drift Compatible" with one another, depends largely on their personal connection and their ability to work in sync with each other."

It had been two years since Lydia lost her best friend and co-pilot Allison Argent in a fight with a Kaiju. It had taken over a year to heal physically and mentally from the gruesome battle, and the memories that haunted her. Lydia never knew if she could get back into a Jaeger and connect like she did with Allison, she couldn’t handle going through that pain all over again. That was until Jordan Parrish came in, someone who broke those barriers she built up, someone who eased his way into Lydia Martins heart, someone who became not only a friend, but a co-pilot. Their bond was stronger than anything anyones ever seen, and their fighting showed that more than anything.

marrish hp au→ Jordan Parrish isn’t only the best keeper that Gryffindor’s quidditch team has ever seen, but he’s also extremely chivalrous, brave, and has a lot of nerve for a muggle born. Lydia Martin knows this. Yet, despite being the brightest witch of her age and a pureblood Slytherin, she seems both irritated and far too intrigued by him. She tries her best to bury her feelings, but that doesn’t work out too well when Professor Snape assigns her to tutor a failing Jordan in Potions class so that he doesn’t get kicked off the team. And what first starts out as pointless bickering, butting heads, and a lot of scoffing on Lydia’s part, soon turns into late night study sessions in the library and deep felt conversations that might just bring up a mutual attraction between the Gryffindor and Slytherin.

Odysseus and the Mermaid pairing: marrish, lydia martin, jordan parrish
Mermaids are wonderful. They provoke wonder.
Mermaids are marvellous. They cause marvels.
Mermaids are fantastic. They create fantasies.
Mermaids are glamorous. They project glamour.
Mermaids are enchanting. They weave enchantment
Mermaids are terrific. They beget terror.
The thing about words is that meanings can twist just like a snake, and if you want to find snakes look for them behind words that have changed their meaning. [x]
They will enchant you with their beautiful song. The end of that song is death.
