The worst thing that I haven’t seen anyone discuss yet is that Eren says he SHOULD HAVE known that Armin was braver than everyone else, meaning Eren didn’t know he was that brave, meaning he thought Armin was actually telling the truth when he said he would only stay as long as the heat was bearable, meaning Eren probably trusted Armin to come out of this alive, meaning we Eren almost definitely wouldn’t have agreed to the plan knowing that Armin was going to die, meaning Eren will probably spend 83 dealing with the fact that Armin is dead because Eren doubted his courage, meaning I’m fully 100% dead inside.

The other thing we need to consider is that Armin lied to Eren and literally used the line “Have I ever lied to you?”, meaning he knew that Eren loved him enough not to let him sacrifice himself, meaning he never lied to Eren before, meaning he knew that Eren trusted him, meaning he destroyed that pure trust between them for Eren’s sake, meaning the last thing Armin ever said to anybody at all, to his best friend in the world, was a lie, meaning everything in this world is hell and I’m in hell and all of this is hell
