went 2 the daylesford market for a sunday jaunt this weekend. ended up rescuing a cockatoo from the grill of someones car where it had been stuck for 40km and taking it to the wildlife rescue. may also have agreed to volunteer there. not sure how that happened

anyway i am so very happy it is autumn. in a gap between clients today i strolled around lake weeroona and watched the birds. the breeze was brisk and beautiful and the clouds rolled in dark and low by the time i was back at work. i am now about to watch new tricks and slow roast a pork shoulder. my cat is purring and things are good

my friend has a little organic farm with his family. and it specialises in raspberries. and i sold those raspberries for years at an organic grocery i worked in and i never knew they were his! they were my favourites! and now i live nearby and he brings me raspberry jam and garlic and pork sausages from pigs they raised! life is. at times. very nice
