Takami opened her door to see Brave in her house as she smiled widely. “Brave!” She nearly jumped on him, holding him close as she kissed his forehead repeatedly. “I’m so glad to be back to you! You’re safe and sound and I’m so glad to see you!”
“Da’w, this has to be the best greeting I’ve had in some time.” Brave can’t help but bend his knees slightly, just so she could kiss his forehead faster. He missed such affection and being gone for so long made him think that Takami might have gotten into more trouble. Fortunately, that was not the case. “Being showered with kisses and nearly tackled, I love it. Great to be back Takami, I trust that you have been busier than ever? And the fact that your home is still in one piece, which I find to be miraculous~” jokes Brave.
Happy new years everyone! 2019 is upon us.

“Hehe, I do. I’d love some sweet bread or any drink, honestly…” Yue lets out a little chuckle, smiling knowingly. She hadn’t expected them to be wandering around this long, either…though Yue’s sense of direction is a little subpar. Besides, who knew that it would be so hard to find a tea shop tucked away in a little corner like this? “So, let’s hope this works out for us!” Whatever the place turns out to be, it certainly feels like they were on a little adventure.
As Light steps in and Yue follows, a wind chime at the entrance jingles lightly. The cashier’s counter is closer to the middle of the store, and is currently empty, though there’s the sound of rustling in the back, and a distant “Welcome, we’ll be right with you!”
The smell of herbs and brewed leaves is strong inside, and it seems to be at least in part a cafe – a few tables for two and four are set out, on the left wall’s shelf lies several boxes of tea leaves, and to the right is a display case of various baked goods, tiny cake slices and cookies and the like.
“Looks like we found it after all!” Yue glances at Light with a grin of relief. She takes some steps towards the counter to observe the menu, wondering what sort of drink she ought to order.
Shortly afterward, a tawny-haired young man wearing walks briskly up towards them, smiling apologetically. “Sorry! I was just stocking things in the back since we haven’t had anyone in a while.” He rubs the back of his neck sheepishly. “Um, feel free to sit down and make yourself comfortable! Or order something, if you like! We serve plenty of different drinks, though our specialty’s tea. Just let me know when you’re ready to order, alright?”

Light clasps her hands together as she takes in the sweet smell of herbs and tea leaves. The tea reminded her of her sisters’, which already won her over. Following Yue’s lead, Light scans the interior as quickly as possible. Teas, scents, breads, all wonderful smells that for a moment seemed to engulf Light. A pleasant feeling in their time of rest. “Indeed he have found it. These are such wonderful smells and I can only image how the tea here will taste. Hurry hurry, lets find a seat!” said Light with excitement.
As Yue and Light find their seat at the counter, Light scans her menu of all the different teas available. Some were sweet, others bitter, and some with very weird names. So many choices, yet so little time to try them all. If not for a tawny young man walking towards them, Light would have been glued to the menu still deciding which tea to try. “Oh? Hmm....there are so many different drinks on the menu and making a single choice is difficult. However there is one thing I would like to start with, one of your berry cake slices, the blueberry one specifically. As for the tea well...might need some help deciding what will go well with it. Yue, perhaps a slice of cake to start things off?” asks Light to the man, and then to Yue.
