“You’re not allowed to sleep! Not now!” He didn’t want to see her die, he didn’t want to see the person he was teaching to pass away in front of him.

He never cared if they failed missions, he would always go finish them on his own while she slept, so they were truly never behind. Though, still, she wasn’t a burden to him at all.

“Just stay awake okay?!” He growled at her, he was able to get her away from the enemy, and he wasn’t going to leave her side at all.

                                        Stop saying my name. Stop !!

          Any SANITY - any understanding of her actions - she DESPISES it. She wants to remain MINDLESS if she’s going to kill, she wants to remain ignorant.

          “Ka - …” For less than a moment, his name rolls from her tongue, but a PIERCING through his skin and a SICKENING scent of ghoul blood is to follow, and her less than adequate kagune soaks.

          A SPASM of her organ briefly steals her balance, and her efforts to support the claw lose muse as it seems to grow heavier by the minute. She mimics a cornered animal: FEARFUL and therefore, RUTHLESS.

          Another attack is launched against her will - her MINIMAL, DWINDLING will.

          “Go ahead !!

                               I don’t want to be a murderer, anyway !!”

He really didn’t want to fight her, he had so much hope that maybe, just maybe. He could help her, see that even though she was a ghoul, she can live within this messed up world. Seeing that she was charging in for another attack, a small sigh escaped his lips.

“Fine, then, this time it’s my turn to hit you.” With the cracking of his right middle finger,two out of the four tentacles charged towards the female ghoul. Really, he was aiming for the ground in front of her, he didn’t want to hurt her, so he was just going to stop her without hurting her, hopefully.

“I will stop you, one way or another Robin!”

Hearing him say all of that made her skin crawl, made all of her natural sense scream at her to get away. But she couldn't—she wouldn’t. It was impossible for her—not now, not ever. Not after today. No matter how horrified she was, she could not leave him. Her feelings were far too strong for her to just walk away.

“…I don’t care,” she repeated, turning her head to see the tears slowly dripping down his cheeks. Without saying another word, she reached out, gently brushing her hand against his chin, tilting his head up so he had to look at her. “Please… don’t cry.”

Her own eyes closed for a moment, lips contorting into a grimace. “I can’t stand… to see you cry, Kaneki.” Of all things, that was the least she was able to handle.

When she said she couldn’t handle him crying. That’s when it struck him that he was crying, he didn’t expect to be crying at all. Wiping away his tears, he started to calm down, taking deep breaths to try to relax himself. He really didn’t like that he was showing weakness.

Not in front of someone like Touka, someone that he spent so much time away from home getting stronger. After a while, the tears had stopped falling. Looking over at Touka, he looked off to the side.

“I’m sorry, that you saw me like that...I’m fine now.” It seemed like she wanted to stay with him, even after becoming the monster he was.

My Muse Is Suddenly Killed In Front Of Your Muse, How Does Your Muse React?

she was the slowest. her kagune didn’t allow her to have speed, but it worked which—surprised her. she was ready to charge again when he stood. her kagune retracting as well as she let out a heavy breath. was that it? was he going to turn her away? he’s seen her face now— ❝you did?—❞ she nodded keeping her face stoic. unsure how to feel.   ❝katono, satomi. tomi if you will.❞

“Welcome aboard Tomi, I hope it will be a pleasure having you in my group.” 

It seemed like she wasn’t ready to kill someone, or just didn’t want to. If that was the case, he could use her. Make her into one of the ghouls that can be used to show the world, that they aren’t all bad.

❝what—i thought this was just to see how—❞ satomi trailed off as she tripped over herself. she hadn’t expected that from him. he wanted to see her powers, what she was capable of. she didn’t expect him wanting to actually try to harm him. keeping herself upright she had barley dodged out of the way from one of his attacks only to be hit with the next attack. she acted fast to charge back at him. he had stamina against her speed. she could work with that. though she wasn’t able to hurt him–it just wasn’t in her, not yet at least. moving to throw a punch in his direction she whipped her koukaku under his feet to knock him over.

Kaneki was expecting a shot through him with the koukaku. Though, when she went for the sweep instead. It threw him off, being knocked off his feet then pushed back by the punch. He took another mental note to himself, an important one.

Standing him, his kakugan disappeared, along with his kagune. Standing up, he dusted himself off and gave a gentle nod. “I think, I’ve learned something about you. I’m Kaneki Ken.”

“I… see.” She squeezed her eyes shut, but was unable to relax her tightened muscles. For a moment, she felt genuinely frightened and uncertain about the boy she was sitting next to and holding hands with. Forcing out the air she had been holding in her lungs, her shoulders slumped forward.

“Kakuja or not… you are still you… and someone very important to me. If you slip up, it happens… But I don’t care.”

The thing was, he was already an incomplete kakuja, he was already more then halfway there. He had to many RC cells within him, and he couldn’t stop himself from getting even more now. Kaneki had to cannibalize, to become stronger.

“...I’ve done it enough, to be incomplete.” He didn’t care how big of a bomb it was being dropped. She had to know who she was getting involved with, that’s when the tears started to drop from his face.

“You’re falling for a monster Touka. I’ve done so much wrong, I ate Jason, I’ve eaten both humans and ghouls. I have to many rc cells in me that hurts...”

                                             Survive and Endure

“Good, now hurt me. Show me that you can hurt someone!” He wanted to push her buttons, he wanted to see if she would and could hurt someone. Cracking his right middle finger now. He brought the extended tentacle back to himself and this time flung two of them towards her.

He wanted to see how far he could push her, what was her limit, and what exactly made her tick. She was interesting, and he liked it.
