An Update
you probably only know me as vanswarped.tumblr.com (yes, i changed the url), where i used to post weird band stuff and jokes, and for some reason, i was called sass queen. still not sure why. i haven’t actually been paying attention to anything on tumblr, as i have not been been actually active in probably a year, on this account or my personal.
this blog started as a twitter account that poked friendly fun at bands i liked (and really hated... i’m looking at you botdf) and the account got deleted by the actual vans warped tour because i was getting too much attention on that account. then, it became a tumblr blog. somehow i managed to get almost 30k. i now look, and its at 27k... woah. i am so grateful for all of you to be a part of my life. that 2-3 years of running this blog actively was crazy. i got stopped in public a few times, people actually considered theirselves “fans” of mine, people would get all excited when i added them back on facebook, and i truly felt loved. although vanswarped was an amazing part of my life, i did have to grow up and move on. that sounds kind of harsh, but it’s true.
since this blog, i have been doing amazing things. i’ve fostered rescued pets, i’ve met and interviewed my favorite band of all time (watch it here), i’m in a serious relationship with the absolute love of my life, and i’m going to be starting my own makeup brand.
i do miss the community that vanswarped created. i hope all of you are doing wonderful and i wish you all happiness in the new year.
this isn’t farewell, but more of a “ttyl.”
