I get it everyone’s busy chasing their dreams, working hard in order to live but checking up on a person doesn’t require so much time, a simple text is enough. Effort and communication are so important

honestly a good partner isn’t necessarily someone who loves the exact same things you love but rather someone who is willing to listen to you ramble on and on about a particular subject that you’re passionate about even if they have little to no interest in it

this is so important

All I can think of is this…

And on the flip-side

FREAKING BE LIKE THIS FOR YOUR PARTNERS!!!

DO THIS!!

Everytime I visit the Walled City, it always amazes me how smartly the city is built. From the bazaars to mohallas, mohallas to kuchas and kuchas to katras.

Lahore geographically is built on undulating mounds, but not on flat land. The slope of the land determines the direction in which the water flows, for as it twisted and changed, it created a natural boundary and on these the walled city was built.

If you see on each side of the major roads that lead into the Walled City were the Bazaars, on each side of the bazars were the ‘Mohallahs’, they consist of houses located on both sides of one or more streets. Within Mohallah’s were ‘Kuchas’ whose lanes led from one to another and within each kuchas were the 'Katras’, they were the narrowest of the lanes and had dead-end alleys where one couldn’t pass without touching the walls of the opposite houses. On this same pattern the Walled City was built and it still remains till date.

A tip: If you ever get lost in the streets of the Walled City, which are nothing less than a maze. Make sure you follow the direction of the water flow or the nullahs on the side of the streets, because that will lead you out of that maze to the city walls.

At The Walled City, Lahore, Pakistan.
